Amazing for making reloading case lube
I can't find a single store around me that sells pure lanolin oil (i.e., not in a cream), so this is a huge help. I mix this 1:10 by weight with 99% isopropyl alcohol to make case lube for reloading (lanolin:iso). SOOOO much cheaper than buying aerosols AND it works better AND you're not inhaling all that extra nasty stuff!! Can't believe how much time and money I've wasted in the past. This is the way to go. Make sure to mix the solution before every session. Because the isopropyl is 99%, it dries extremely quick, leaving just a thin layer of lanolin behind. The photo above is a 100ml bottle, and I originally mixed 55g of solution in it. I've lubed over 100 cases so far with this bottle, and there's probably >40g left (and I was overlubing them, trying to get a feel for how much to use). So, I can probably get ~2000 cases out of this bottle, probably closer to 3000 now that I know to use less spray.

Great, cost effective way to lubricate bullet cases prior to resizing.
I use this in a 1:10 ratio with 99% rubbing alcohol to lube my bullet cases prior to resizing. Works perfectly. Note that this product will react with some spray - type "one-shot" case lubes (or, more accurately, THEY will react with THIS) and gunk things up. Always clean your dies whenever switching between this and the "one-shot" products or you will surely stick a case.

Seems fine for my purpose.
I use this to make a cleaning and lube solution for my firearms.

Amazing stuff 🐑
I recently have become a Merinoholic, and was very curious to get some lanolin to experiment with using as a skin/hair moisturizer, putting it on my wool clothes, etc. and I have been pleasantly surprised with how effective this stuff is.I was happy with the smell as for me it's very mild and almost smells like tobacco or a whiskey barrel which I enjoy so I've been able to put it on just about everything without being bothered the only thing I was prepared for was it's thickness and consistency as it's pretty syrupy. It leaves just about anything it comes in contact with extremely soft, pretty amazing stuff I'm shocked I haven't heard of it before my Merinoholic addiction began and now I want to look for more things with lanolin in it!Thanks 🐑❤️

I like it, very therapeutic
I was looking for a lanolin product that did not smell awful. This is it! Lanolin is one of two things that can actually be absorbed into skin. I use this on my hands, face and hair. I’ve been using it for less than two weeks and I have very noticeable improvement. This product is very thick. I apply it with warm water or with my usual face and hand creams. My problem with my hair breaking seems to have stopped. I am optimistic that it will continue to improve. I still have an old person face (I’ve earned that) but my skin looks a lot better! I am so glad I bought this product. Thanks to Amazon for sending the recommendation! Go for it!

Great as a 12:1 ratio as lube for resizing "seed holders"
Use 12oz Red Heet & 1 oz this as a lube to resize "seed holders". Also keeps your hands nice & soft!

Moist
This is my second bottle. Lanolin is not for the faint of heart - make sure you wear socks or some kind of gloves after you slather this on. It's thick. You'll definitely see a difference in dry skin after using this product. Love!

Nice for hair
The media could not be loaded. I put this on my towel dried hair (that’s Caucasian, wavy, fine), and it works great. I use a small amount that’s about the size of one or two pencil erasers (as in my video), rub it into my palms, and pat/spread it down the full length of my hair, even getting the “wet frizzy” pieces on the top of my head. I then let my hair air dry. My hair remains wavy and doesn’t have that sticky/stiff feel that I get when using gel. Kinda makes waves that you can run your fingers through. If it’s an extra humid day, I add a tiny drop to my dry hair, similar to when my hair is damp (except that I use way less on dry hair). It helps reduce flyaways. My hair lasts two days without washing, and the waves remain!Update: I have played around with using this product along with a silicone-based leave in, and if I put this lanolin oil first, it absolutely adds a bit of hold to my waves. So on days when I want to use a leave in (when it’s rainy or windy), I put my lanolin oil on first. Without the lanolin, my waves are flatter and frizzier. With the lanolin, my waves have more structure, and my hair is less frizzy.
