A must-have for hearing aids
My dry-n-store unit is a life saver. My BTE aids are subject to perspiration during normal activity, and I am glad to have a Dry-N-Store to allow them to dry out overnight. But you must change the desiccant every two to three months (depending on the time of year and ambient humidity, in my opinion) to get the benefit. I truly believe that this extends the life of the aids, together with regular vacuuming (with a Jodi-Vac) and replacement of wax guards. Hearing aids are so expensive it makes sense to make sure the desiccant is fresh.
