Oribe Balm D'Or Heat Styling Shield, 3.4 oz

Use this product correctly, meaning use only a very small amount like a dime size. Then apply it to the ends first and use a comb or plastic brush to spread the product all over the hair. I finally got this right. Today my hair is shiny and bouncy after blow drying my hair with the product spread evenly on my hair. I was applying it to the top roots first and only used my fingers to spread the product which is a mistake. Oribe is a good brand provided you use it correctly as I've described above.

I use this mixed with the Oribe detangling spray (1 pump heat shield + 4 pumps detangler) and instantly noticed my hair was softer, shinier and less frizzy. I have fine hair and this doesn't weigh it down at all. Oribe is pricey but in my opinion the products are generally a great value for the money.

Never leaves hair greasy and takes away all flyaways!!! Alittle goes a long way so this will last and it worth the money 💰

I thought I was good and didn’t need this. Until I had to have all of Oribe. I have and use religiously the gold lust oil. My hair it’s perfect with lust gold alone. Even so, I knew I would eventually need protection from heat. I dislike the cheaper protectant (they’re icky and sticky) and made my hair worse. This product will complete your hair style. You can not be without it (I swear). Get yourself a system with THIS hair care brand. I love my hair. I was going to shave it all off and just accept it. I thought I was using the right products for hair like mine and for decades I was wrong. All that was was false information/old advice that never yields positive results. It was time to invest in products that worked and gave life to my hair and I’m not sad and depressed about my hair anymore.

My only grief is the cost... I'm not sure if it's truly worth it, but I keep buying it for the past 2 years, sooooooo

I used my new hair styling product yesterday and I am in love with it already. This heat styling shield product added light weight, tamed frizz and made my hair incredibly shiny. You only need a small amount of product applied to damp hair to make it look great. This product is not cheap, but you get what you pay for... and for hair, makeup, lotions and perfumes, I am willing to spend the money on luxury products for ME because I am worth it :) I am very happy with the results and will continue to buy Oribe hair products from now on.

There was nothing impressive about this for me. There are lots of other great heat protectants out there without the price tag and ones that work harder.
