Mon imagier de tous les jours: 400 photos pour apprendre ses premiers mots

I bought this book for my 16 month old daughter who is being raised bilingually. She absolutely loves it. The book uses photographs of objects rather than drawn designs which I think is good as it gives a fair representation. It covers a whole range of topics such as food, transport, the human body, clothing, nature, toys and many more.The pages are plastic coated so will not rip - the only caveat I would give is that my daughter has already cut herself on the pages as the plastic coating makes for quite sharp edges...

Bought this for my son after he kept on going over his first 100 words book and I wanted something with more words. We are a bilingual household so wanted a French book this time. He loves it. He will look for it amongst all his other toys and bring it to us, sit on the sofa and start turning pages for us to point at things and play: where is the xxx?I also think that having actual photos of items works better than drawings for young toddlers. Would definitely recommend!
