Would these be strong enough/suitable for a bed??

It depends of course on the weight of the bed and type of mattress. E.g. for a double bed with brass headboard, VSpring mattress, and two people, definitely no! They are very robust but I wouldn't think the manufacturers would intend for them to be used for a bed. Perhaps for a single bed with a light frame and no heavy headboards, but I wouldn't try them on anything larger. The 4 screw holes in each castor plate are No10, and I used No10 3/4" screws (not suppled by the way!) to secure them to the bottom of a small recording studio cabinet. I think that's the sort of job they are best suited to.

Fits an IKEA Lack ... with a caveat

These 50mm castors fit the IKEA Lack perfectly - but get smaller screws instead, as the provided screws are too big and likely to crack the cheap from which Lack furniture is made.
