I had this, then got rid of it because I thought that this was not doing the job. I was not checking my levels, but I did after I got rid of it! It kept the levels down (even when eating the wrong things - a little) and it does it in a smooth, more gradual way that helps to keep the levels down.Ceylon cinnamon drops it abruptly, but does not really keep i down in a steady way. Bitter Melon is supposed to work with the pancreas to help produce or enhance insulin levels. So this is actually a better solution - or get them both! I made a mistake before, but I highly recommend this.There was another brand that I used that was GREAT (15:1 organic), but the feds got on top of them to shut them down while they were making nothing but the best, pure and organic stuff.

Purchased this upon the recommendation of my nurse practitioner. This product seemed to supply the best bang for the buck and I was glad to see that it only contained bitter melon. No unnecessary or unwanted ingredients. Too many supplements insist on including vitamins, minerals and related stuff when all I want is purity As to efficacy after several weeks I can't really tell whether it's helping. On the other hand it's easy to swallow and as far as I can tell I've experienced no side effects. Oh, and why am I being asked to rate the flavor of a capsule?
