If you are in a situation wherein you buy a new kitchen faucet and find that your angle stop valves are having 1/2 inch and the hot and cold supply lines that the new kitchen faucet came with are 3/8 inch then you are in for some headache and trouble. If you visit most local big box stores you will find plethora of plumbing items which may or may not solve the problem.If you visit local big box stores, Most likely all of them are too complicated for DiY types of work as they involve you replacing the angle stop valve with 3/8 inch fitting that requires you shutting off the house water supply to do the replacement. Most apartments and condos many renters have no clue where that is located thus making the work complicated and time consuming.Bottom-line: These help connect 3/8 smooth faucet supplies to angle stop enabling you to add new style faucet adapters to older 1/2 slip joint angle stops without having to shut-off entire house water supply just to replace a kitchen faucet. Perfect fit and connection for 1/2" brass connections. Fit perfectly and worked with our Kohler faucet 3/8" compression connections.

My goodness what a hassle this job was. I went to local Lowe’s to get a new kitchen faucet and when I got home to set it up I realized that 3/8 would not work with my 1/2 old school setup. Unfortunately in recent years all models are now sold as 3/8 to conserve water…. Of course local Lowes homedepot hardware store even stines did not have in stock this part so I could even use my new moen faucet. This 2 pack worked perfectly for my 1/2 FIP connection to the 3/8 compression fitting of the new faucet.

Though some reviewers noted that these compression adapters fit Moen lines, we found that they do not exactly fit the 3/8" Moen #7425 kitchen faucet water lines. Had to return the adapters.

I was frustrated trying to find a coupler that connected a newly bought faucet with a 3/8" supply line to my 1/2" water line. Bought several couplers from Home Depot and my local hardware store and they either leaked or didn't fit. I ordered this as it seemed to be made for water supply lines and it was perfect! Perfect fit, didn't leak and completed it in 10 minutes. After struggling with trying to find the right coupler for days going back and forth to the hardware store this was awesome. If you have the same size connectors as mine I would highly recommend this product.
