Extremely happy with this grill!!
Super nice grill! I am extremely happy with it. They delivered it to me with no issues. The guy from the company also helped me bring it to the backyard. Great grill and great service. Would definitely recommend this grill to anyone.

Killer Grill, but expect issues with 1st gen
First off, I love using this grill. Upgraded from an old Grand Turbo that came with my home to this beast.Pros:- Temperature control: It typically stays at temp 99% of the time but will fluctuate at times within about 5 degrees.- Flexibility in what and how you can cook: I have gone as low as 195 for overnight brisket cook to 600 to use as wood fire pizza oven. I typically don't use the sear feature as it can get a little to hot, but instead manually set the temp to 500-ish and sear for 3 minutes on each side for perfect char on reverse seared steaks.- Easy to Load Pellets: The front loading pellets is a fantastic features and very easy to use. If you compare it to how a Memphis Elite works, it's a huge difference.- Design: The look of this grill is really eye catching. Everyone that has seen this grill is immediately impressed with it just on looks and design.Cons:- Temperature alarm: I'm still pretty new to smoking, but you learn very fast that you don't cook based on time, but temperature. Coyote built in a great probe system, but failed to provide any type of intelligence around them. Having just a timer and not a temperature alarm is a huge miss by their development team.- Lack of WiFi: I went in knowing that feature was not available, but if they really wanted to compete with Memphis and twin eagles, they need to consider adding this feature in future generations. Without a temperature alarm on the grill, you will find yourself going back and forth from the grill frequently as you monitor your cook and wait for it to hit that final temperature.I would give this grill 5* if the auger didn't break within first 100-200 hours of use. To make matters worse, Coyote does not have anyone that knows how to properly services these grills, instead they are opting to do full RMA replacements. eta to get a new grill if yours breaks, 2-3 months. That is a long time to be with out a grill....UPDATE:I have had my replacement grill for a while and still love the grill. From what i was told by coyote support is that the first batch of grills are all having issues because pellets are getting stuck where the auger drops pellets into the fire pot. unfortunately the couple hundred made provided no way to access the jam for repair. all new units come with a little trap door to access this spot to clear any future blockages. When dealing with support coyote support, they were awesome. Both me and another friend who ran into same issue had no problems getting new RMA grills sent out to us.Couple things i would recommend picking up:- instant read meat probe.- ranged temperature alarm.Due to the grill not having wireless temperature controls or any type of alarm system, i purchased a Thermoworks Smoke system and found out that the grill temp displayed on grill is usually way off. at times the grill will say its holding steady at 225, but the smoke system is actually showing that its swinging between 200 - 250 which is normal for any smoker.

Jams constantly, no local support
I purchased this pellet grill for my outdoor kitchen because I liked the features for the Coyote better than the Memphis grill. I had electrical problems with my first grill a few months after I purchased it so Coyote sent me a replacement grill. The problem now is the grill jams so often it isn't reliable. To avoid jams I buy high quality pellets, keep them stored in an air tight container in my house and never let them stay in the grill overnight. Although it isn't discussed in the Owner's Manual (as of 8/21), clearing a jam is fairly easy. However, it's not so easy if it's dark out and the grill is hot. In that case, fire up the oven because the grill won't work til the next morning when the jam is cleared. Last night I started a cook with brand new pellets, and sure enough it jammed before the grill could get to temperature. Fortunately I had the oven preheated so I didn't miss much time. In fairness, for all I know this is the same with all pellet grills. On a positive note the jams are fairly easy to clear (once customer service explains the procedure) and customer service is great. They are responsive and very helpful. As mentioned above, there is no local service which may be a problem when it's out of warranty. If I had known how temperamental this unit is would I have purchased it anyway? Absolutely not.

Best grill ever!
Absolutely love my 36” Coyote Pellet built-in grill! You can do it all...smoke, bake, roast and sear...even cook your Thanksgiving turkey! Slow roasted 5 racks of the most tender and juicy ribs at 230 degrees on the versa rack. Perfectly cooked my stuffed turkey at 350 degrees and grilled an amazing steak at 550 degrees. Temperature held within 2 degrees consistently! Super easy to use with the digital touch pad and 3 temperature probes!Neighbors keep asking what I’m cooking because it smells so good when they walk by!
