Q: I bought the auto-vent kit but don’t know how to install it with the louvre , as neither came with instructions. Thanks for your help.

If you look on YouTube and look at all the videos, can piece together installation instructions. Was going to order the auto vent for my louvre, but did not after research, but will void any warranty because of modifications required, you might have to make, and customers complained of damaging the louvre during extreme temperature conditions and a limiter not being on the piston, extending and breaking the “plastic” hinge parts, once installed. It also requires removing the control are, eliminating manual control of the louver.

Q: Does it flap in the wind and is there any problem with rodents getting in?

It is fairly sturdy and does not flap in the wind. Haven’t had any issues yet with rodents.

Q: Can this be installed anywhere on a hybrid 4x6x7? I want it on the side not back (opposite of door)

Yes I have a 6x8... my husband who installed it said it can replace any of the panels- ours is on the 8 side to the left- below the vent(we didn’t want it facing south (to the right) as most of the winds come from that way
