I really enjoyed The Bible Recap because it makes reading through the Bible both approachable and insightful. I appreciate how it keeps the focus on God’s character and encourages personal application. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read the Bible in a year, especially those who’ve struggled to stay consistent or feel overwhelmed by Scripture. I chose this rating because it helped me grow in understanding, kept me motivated each day, and deepened my relationship with God.

I love this way to read through the Bible! I couldn’t recommend it enough. It directs you on what to read each day, while giving you great insights and thoughts to accompany the reading. This is a great addition to a daily Bible reading!

I just started this one year chronological bible reading plan by Tara-Leigh Cobble, within a bible app.I decided to order the Bible Recap one year guide to go along with the apps reading plan and it is absolutely great.After each days, reading, there's a recap, which is short and to the point. It also offers a God shot (snapshot of God's character, per the book's description) for each day. It is also very short.The cover of the book has a nice feel, and the letters on the cover are outlined as well.This is a great asset to the Bible Recap plan within the bible app.

Excellent book! I have already went threw many days in one setting. Enjoyed the content..the clarity and today's god shot. I like the soft cover alot and like the nice font size! I will buy more from this author because she makes it very easy to understand and apply what you have learned!! I would definitely recommend!!

Reading the Bible has proven a difficult task for me time and time again, so I decided to study it instead. Using the Bible Recap was the perfect choice for me. It lays the readings out in chronological order, and sums up scripture in beautiful plain language that makes it understandable to a first-time reader. It takes away the heaviness of trying to interpret an important subject while preparing you to dig in deeper when you're ready. I gave this book a try after reading Tara's book The Joy of the Trinity, which I highly recommend reading. Both are focused on the joy of God, even where it seems there is no joy to be found. To quote the end of every reading, He is where the Joy is!

This guide is designed to be completed in 365 days, allowing readers to read through the entire Bible within a year. It features questions that encourage readers to dive deeper into the daily passages, exploring aspects such as authorship, context, and the promises God has made. The questions encompass objective, subjective, and critical thinking elements, aiding in research of the topics at a more profound level.I highly recommend these fantastic resources to anyone eager to deepen their understanding of the Word. The questions are open-ended, prompting readers to reflect on what God is communicating through Scripture. Having read portions of the actual book, I truly appreciate its writing style and the ease with which one can read through the entire Bible in a year. With the New Year approaching in a couple months, it's the ideal time to acquire the book, study, journal, and listen to the podcast. I'm also considering starting over and utilizing all these resources together to strengthen my faith and enhance my knowledge of Christ.
