Q: I have a sectional and I know one would work on the one side but the other side is U shaped and would be tricky anyone attempt these w/ a sectional?

The plastic cover dimensions are 96'' x 18''/42'' x 40'' (W x front H/back H x D). It might be tricky but you can try.

Yes we now have a plastic cover available for a recliner.

Q: Is this meant for sitting on? I mean, does it makes crinkly (plastic) noise when you sit on it?

It make a little noise, but you can sit on it. I do so often without any issues. This cover is pretty strong.

Q: Does this product have di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (dehp)?

Well I bought three covers. Used two and we are still alive; 4 cats and one wife. No visitors have died. The only problem I have is over time the folds in the way the covers are shiped; the main middle fold starts splitting. You end up with an adjustable sized cover. I have been using clear shipping tape to adjust the fold splits. There is no smell or color deteriation. I think it's good value either way.
