For use on a vehicle awning when used on hard-standing and thus guy ropes aren’t an option. I was really pleased when they arrived. The Velcro closures were so good I struggled to get them open to fill with sand. I am sure they will withstand very high winds if necessary and I have had no sand leaks so far.

These seem pretty good and should perform adequately well (time will tell).I ordered them using Amazon Prime and they arrived the next day - great!Unfortunately, one of the four was supplied without the all-important stopper rendering it useless - I have contacted the supplier directly (as recommended by Amazon) and I hope they will send a complete (with stopper) replacement for the faulty one without delay.Update*: As the supplier didn't even have the courtesy to respond, this set has been returned for a refund.I found another (identical) set on Amazon supplied by MasterCanopy - they're cheaper and their quality control seems a bit more rigorous!

This is a good quality product and is currently being used to hold a gazebo in place on our terrace which is in a reasonably sheltered position. We have not experienced much wind yet, but are keeping our fingers crossed that our gazebo will stay in place. Obviously if high winds are forecast the gazebo will be taken down - we do not expect miracles from this product.

I've not used mine yet but my friend has them on her gazebo ,they've held her gazebo down all through this weather we've had .... definitely recommend...

Not as easy as they make out to erect, needs at least two people and although we used sandbags, ties anchored with stakes and additional wrap around weights to hold this down, in the first slight bit of wind it gave way at the top.It ended straight in the bin as a few supports were completely broken

I have found you can get low cost water 2 litre bottles and they fit two to each sandbag. This means I can store the empty bags easily as I only use once or twice per year. Sand is 50% heavier than water so it would be more stable with sand (6kg vs 4kg). I didn't use them in very windy weather and the water filled solution was fine.

I was looking for something to hold down our popup goals when we train on artificial turf. Purpose made bags are expensive for what they are so was looking for a cheaper alternative. It wasn't clear from the description what these were like but thought for £10 it was worth a shot although they seemed a little bit big for our needs. I was surprised to find that they were absolutely perfect!The bags are made of thick material and unlikely to wear too quickly. What isn't clear is that they are actually constructed as a big square bag sewn down the middle effectively making two pockets. The whole bag would be too big for us so I filled just one side with sand creating a 3kg weight. I can then either attach the popup goal to it using the velcro straps or place a bag across the corner of the goal which I found to be the best option. I've since ordered another set so we have 4 goals in use.

I purchased these weights when I purchased an expensive Gazebo. I wanted to feel secure knowing that my gazebo was going to stay in place on extremely windy days. They were easy to fill up, and the color has not faded by the sun. This product has been great on our deck holding down our gazebo. Great product.

It's really windy in my balcony, I got these bags and filled them with stone, they work perfect... I don't have to worry about the wind anymore!These bags are very sturdy, I filled them with very heavy stones and they hold great... easy to attach to the furniture, it's just what I needed

These work perfectly for what I need them for. As a smaller female, I wanted something sturdy enough to hold the canopy, but also not incredibly heavy for me to maneuver. They seem to be made of a great material, fasten around the tent nicely, and provided the weight I needed, even when they weren’t at full capacity. I also like that they will be easy to empty when I’m ready.

If I can give it no stars I would. Out of the box 2 of bags have helms opened which made them useless already. Since I ordered in the winter and waited to summer to use them, the return window was closed. No big deal, I only needed 2 to hold down an out door light. After a week, there was a leak on one of the 2 remaining bags. They are utterly useless. DO NOT recommend.
