Diamond Antenna CP610 Vertical Base Antenna, 10m/6m, 22ft

Upon unboxing this antenna I was impressed with the tubing end cuts and slots. Those aspects plus the accuracy of the drilled holes made assembly fast and easy. The support I put it on for testing and temporary use is only 10' tall. I ran a complete test with an antenna analyzer and found it has amazingly wide bandwidth around the 6-meter band. The 2:1 SWR points are at 42.26 and 57.69 MHz. Within minutes of connecting it to the radio, I made a solid contact with Brazil on 10 meters. Given that sunspots are at zero and propagation has been really poor, that suggests this is a pretty good antenna.

Will not resonate on 6 M call several times they will not pick up or return a phone call I feel sorry for anyone to actually buy from them if you do then I told you so hahaha

I have used this antenna on 10 meters SSB DX with great results. The antenna has also amazing performance on 6 meter SSB DX and FM work. A pleasant surprise I found out is the antenna will load with an external tuner on 10 thru 40 meters with excellent DX performance on these HF bands too! I have a radial field beneath the ground connected to the mast so I am sure this is assisting on the excellent results that I am obtaining on all these bands. This antenna mounted in the fashion that I have it set up out performs many "Multiband" verticals on the market today costing many times more.
