I LOVE LOVE LOVE how sharp the cutter is. Easiest to use in terms of cutting the foil quickly. This is great quality too,I don't see this wearing out anytime soon. Nice and sturdy. HOWEVER, my only complaint is that these wine openers are impossible to work with one hand only (almost too sturdy and tight). Trying to flip it open quickly and professionally is impossible. This is fine if you are using it at your home, behind the bar at the well, or maybe in a restaurant that is not upscale , but if you are a professional server opening wine bottles at tables, it doesn't look great using two hands to flip it open instead of one. For this reason I would not purchase again.

This is a great multi utility tool I definitely recommend. The color and handle are nice and smooth and It’s great for XXL and small hands. Stable wine opener with good grip and well balanced weight. The curve knife design is perfect to use when carving Birchwood as art hobby is very relaxing finding the grain patterns slow and easy to develop your technique under a shady tree. I’m also gifting as a hobby starter. Hope this helps others make a sound decision.

Everyone loves this portable opener. I gave them out as gifts for Christmas last year. They are very well made and nice looking too.

Beautifully made! These will last you a lifetime. I was quite surprised at the weight…nearly a quarter pound. I have not actually opened a bottle yet but I’m certain it will be the best and last corkscrew I’ll ever need. It’s so nice I don’t want to keep it in a drawer.

Needed a few more in various locations, these are very similar to my current favorite everyday opener, the Laguiole at $9 https://www.amazon.com/Franmara-CECOMINHK07080-LAGUIOLE-Waiters-Corkscrew/dp/B00DJXTJZ2/These are heavier and should be sturdy and last, although I prefer the lightness of the Laguiole, and it's easier to open the foil cutter, fulcrum, and screw. The cutter on these is so stiff I nearly broke my thumbnail opening it, but a drop of oil and some use should loosen it up. One advantage these have over the Laguiole is a two-step fulcrum, good for extra-long corks.
