Congrats to the team that made this tape! I almost never write reviews, but this stuff is simply fantastic. To me, at least, it’s NOT duct tape - because it’s infinitely better than duct tape. The adhesive is a perfect balance of retention and removability (without sticky residue). If the adhesive were any stronger, it’d be too strong, but as it is it’s just right. The product description says it all.

This tape was very hand during our recent hiking trips. We used the tape to patch up a rip that we had on our hiking bag and also on one of the inflatables that we had. The tape had the right amount of adhesion where we can peel it off to make a correction and it still held up very good even over a couple of days. What I really enjoyed most is the tiny "dot matrix" pattern that makes it very easy to be able to tear off a tape section neatly every time. In comparison with other tapes that we've own in the past, this is quite an improvement. The box also listed other uses/applications of the tape which I would definitely need to try out. This tape has a permanent spot in our hiking bag. I would definitely recommend it to friends and families!

I put together several go bags for the family and this was just an add on. They came in individually wrapped small boxes, so it was perfect to fit in the backpacks 🎒 still have not used.

This tape is beyond high quality, the glue is stickier than the leading brands, the tensile strength is stronger than leading brands and the ease of use as in ripping of the length you need is easier than the leading brands, this is a must have for your first aid kit and for repairs to your gear when you are in a pinch. Its perfect for emergencies and when one needs to get things done but doesn't have both hands available. This tape is most definitely designed to be the go to for the roughest of times but by that measure of detail put into the quality makes this tape above the rest when you just want something done and not have to worry about it anymore.

I purchased this duct tape as I have purchased several other products from Surviveware and have been happy with their first aid kits. This tape did not disappoint. I found it was easy to tear, and it held up pretty well for a few of the uses I had for it. I tried cutting a hole in a plastic cup and filling it with water, then applying the tape to the cut area. The tape held and the water stayed in the cup. My only complaint is that it was hard to unwrap the plastic covering the tape out of the box, which could be more difficult if you have wet/muddy hands. Otherwise, this tape does a good job of holding what you can throw at it.

Very adhesive, but thin and subject to abrasion rendering it unfit for many jobs. Would not buy again. Same quality tape available in larger rolls for essentially the same price. Not a heavy duty tape.

I'm overall happy with the product. Maybe a bit more packaging than your use too for duct tape but it's nothing to fret about in my opinion. I tested this against the 1 inch wide gorilla tape to compare sticky ness and durability by placing them side by side under my car fender which receives much friction. The survivor ware tape favored considerably well despite recieving more friction than the gorilla tape. I like that it's also a bit smoother which in some cases can be advantageous depending on the situation plus I realized it is about two feet longer than the gorilla tape. I have no complaints and will be very useful for almost any situation and it currently lives in my car for emergency repairs. I really like it, Hope this helps.
