Great for PoE Cameras
Surprisingly a good little switch for PoE cameras. I just manage the VLAN for this switch on my main switch to segment them out from the rest of my network. It has only been a few weeks, but so far no issues!

Great little switch
Bought this for a new PoE WiFi setup. Works exactly as described and expected. Only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 is that it says it can be wall mounted, but went through the entire box and didn’t find any brackets. And no keyholes on the back. Looks like it has the screw holes for some brackets, but nothing included. Will make a couple but adds time to my install.

Great replacement for my camera system
I was using a system that required internet explorer and active X to view the camera. This little switch was able to replace that system along with zoneminder. This switch powers 8 ip cameras perfectly. I used a single uplink port into my primary switch and did not use the 2 uplink ports as shown in the directions.

Works well as a PoE switch but emits lot of radio noise.
It works well for my PoE security cameras and IP phone so far, but it’s very noisy on “RF”, meaning I can hear loud static noise on the radio from it while listening to weak stations. It’s noisy enough to degrade the performance of my WiFi signal too. I took the unit apart and found that even though it uses a grounded power cable, the ground isn’t connected to anything, much less the chassis. The noise goes away considerably when I connect a ground to the chassis but it’s still noisy. It’s the only full 8-PoE port switch I could find on Amazon without going to multi-hundred-dollar switches so I can make this one work.

Happy with my purchase
I purchased this switch to run five POE security cameras. It has been working as advertised for about two months now. I was happy with the number of POE ports available and pricing of the unit.
