Nice for the price

I bought this mainly for my camera after seeing the raving reviews everywhere. It does a splendid job of recording clear audio. Since this is my first external mic, I didn't know that external mono mics record in only one channel. However, with a little tinkering in system you can convert it to both channels.The place where this microphone absolutely shined was in office calls. I plugged into my Mac using the smartphone 3.5mm cable (TRRS). I've a pedestal fan on my right which introduces a lot of noise in almost all the headsets I use - except Jabra where it's minimal. Having this microphone, the fan/wind noise was eliminated completely, which is astonishing. My voice was very clear and I could move around a little in my chair. I haven't seen many talk about using this mic for calls/meetings which IMO its best use case during these times.

Waste of money . Poor quality in build . 3 times get replaced by the same product

I bought it after reading the initial reviews which were all from international customers and every single one of them gave it a flaming 5 stars. It's only after purchase did I notice that most of them are part of Amazon Vine Program wherein they receive the products for free and that might explain their generous reviews (the part about Amazon Vine Program was clearly mentioned in the review details earlier but now has been removed). I used it on my Panasonic Lumix GH5 (which is well acknowledged as one of the best mirrorless cameras out there) for outdoor shoots and the sound quality captured by this microphone is only slightly better than the inbuilt camera microphone. It's directionality is very limited and it picks up quite a bit of ambience noise. I'm not saying it's completely useless, it does the job to an extent but it certainly isn't anything to go gaga over.

This is a great entry level mic for creators.. just lightweight and perfect finish crisp amd clear voice output through this microphone and yes they also provided windscreen which is helpful in windy areas and not to forget those two connectable cables one for dslr and the other for smartphone.. happy that i cracked this deal ❤️

Mic is perfect for beginners and it is worth buying.Now its more than a year and My dslr chord is not working with Mic. I have checked with similar mic and I got to know that chord is working but having some issue with my mic.Smartphone chord is perfectly working with mic.I dont know why i am facing issue while using dslr chord.

Received the box today and couldn't resist trying it immediately to test its potential.Hooked to my Note 10 + using coupling cable and recorded audio.Amazing sound clarity.There was no surrounding noise recorded.Will be a great asset for my mirrorless DSLR video shoot.Highly recommended.

Der Korpus sorgt dafür, dass man echt kein schlechtes Gewissen hat, wenn man das Teil einfach in den Fotorucksack wirft. Die Tonqualität geht für diesen Preis mehr als in Ordnung!

Uso habitualmente mis Sennheiser 440 y el 400 II. Este es una versión airosa del 400. Cumple su función bastante bien: recoge el sonido aceptablemente, es pequeño y no necesita pilas. El diseño, sin embargo, es un tanto incómodo: el conector está muy cerca del zeppelin del micro y ello dificulta mucho la instalación del peluche. Y con el peluche instalado es fácil confundir la dirección de montaje del micro sobre la zapata (todo queda como una bola).

In the end this microphone had to go back because the job I bought it for was cancelled. However it's nicely made and the pre-shaped curly lead is perfectly designed to fit a DSLR.
