At last, a glass
I'll admit I love to shop at thrift stores. I also love weighted drink glasses and the last time I found myself shopping at the local thrift store I came home with a lovely small weighted beverage glass. What can I say, it doesn't take much to thrill me. I LOVE this small, heavy, clear glass that fits so nicely in my hand. I wanted more but had no idea where this one came from. Turning to Amazon with hopes of finding that same glass I came upon 5 O'Clock Rocks glass. I read the reviews and noted how some people weren't pleased. Thinking I must have these small glasses, I ordered a pair. They arrived early and in prefect shape. While they weren't an exact replica of my thrift store glass they, too, feel great in my hand and I'm very happy with my purchase.A few months have passed and I still love my Rock glasses but there was one tiny issue. After lightly clinking one glass with another the Rock glass suffered a tiny chip. Not wanting to throw such a beautiful glass away I filed the chip so the rim would be safe to drink from. A few weeks later the company wrote and asked me how I like the glasses. I love them but was a little sad about the chip. Without me asking they generously offered to send me a new pair. Excellent customer service.OK, they're made of glass and probably a little more fragile than some but they are lovely to hold making one's enjoyment of the beverage even more so. Heck, if you don't want to worry about breakage, get yourself some Fiesta Ware. Won't break but won't be as sensual to drink out of either.

Quality Build & Good Aesthetics - Brings the sense of touch to the party
Although I have no problem having my drink out of any regular glass or even a plastic cup, there is something about the tactile experience of holding a quality tool in your hand, whether it's a hammer, a ratchet, or a rocks glass. These glasses didn't disappoint. They are well made, have nice thick walls and a heavy base. Their height and diameter are nice dimension and the slightly rounded edge on the lip of the feels good to run my thumb along. If I could change one thing about them, it would be for them to be even heavier, as I like the glasses really heavy. It would likely require a substantial increase to the thickness of the base, which would alter the proportions and the aesthetics. At the end of the day, it's luxury - an expensive glass to put your drink in and it delivers well in that role.

Best Scotch Glass Ever
I have been looking for this type of glass for 10+ years. Have no idea why no one understand what a scotch glass should be.Everything in the mark is HUGE after 3 glasses you would have finished the bottle and scotch drinking is to enjoy it not pound it.These glasses are not only the perfect size but unbelievable quality.I use it for my scotch and tequila drinking and yes you should drink tequila neat (enjoy it) not in a shot glass.Job well done guys, Ill be purchase more.CheersRubenPS this is my first review on amazon after many years of purchasing, shows what a brilliant job you guys have done

Awesome little glasses with one caveat
These are great little glasses. Yes, they are a lot smaller than your typical rocks glass, but they really are sylish, sturdy little glasses. It sounds silly but they feel great in your hand. They are absolutely perfect for high quality scotch that would look odd in a larger glass; they're also perfect for a cocktail like the Sazarac that traditionally comes in a smaller glass. A lot of the negative reviews use the size as a bad thing, but in a market of very similar rocks glasses, it's rare to find a smaller glass with as much heft. The only knock I have (and one that has been mentioned in a few reviews here) is that there is a single small bulge on the rim of both glasses I got. For something as sanctimonious and simple as scotch in a glass, any impurity calls attention to itself. Without this flaw, this would have been a perfect review.

Elegant little glass for neat or rocks drinking
A Glencairn glass is useful for evaluating a spirit, but for enjoying a familiar dram I much prefer this one. It looks inviting with a finger of whisk(e)y in it or with a single 1.5 inch ice cube. It feels good in my hand and presents the nose of the drink well. The relatively small size is nice, too. A moderate pour served neat with a drop or two of water doesn't look like it was measured with a thimble. I also like to serve Sazerac and La Lousiane coctails in this with a simple garnish dropped straight in-no toothpick. I've only had these for a few months, so I can't comment on durability, but the quality feels very high.

I usually do not send replies about 'how did things do?' requests. So there's a good start, because what you've put together is actually really worth a response ---There is just something delightful about the glass. It 'holds' beautifully in the hand. There is a heft at the base -- and an almost silky feeling to the glass itself. It really is the perfect size -- and perfect curvature at the rim to hold scent ---This is not just a 'whiskey glass' -- wine, sherry, vermouth are all very nicely supported too ---Light comes off in a very even spectrum.I would buy it again - and send to my friends ----dw

Very small but functional!
I love the look/design of this glass but I must say we haven't gotten much use of them due to their smaller than average size (or so I think). They're super cute though, and the silicone ice cube tray I purchased with them as a gift for my boyfriend fit into the glasses nicely. Will use for special occasions.

Pleasantly surprised
I was pretty skeptical about this purchase, as I'm more comfortable making glassware purchases from more established names, but there aren't many options for a 6-8 ounce rocks glass, and I liked the subtly rounded shape of this one. I know that a Glencairn is an objectively superior whiskey glass, but I really like this traditional shape. Anyway - the product has a fairly substantial heft to it's small size, seems sturdy, and the glass is clear. Really all I could have asked for, should have pulled the trigger on this one a long time ago.
