i-Blason Ares Case for iPhone 12 Pro Max 6.7 inch (2020 Release), Dual Layer Rugged Clear Bumper Case with Built-in Screen Protector (Black)

This is my 3rd i-Blason case.I had two for my previous iPhone XS Max, and those were great as well. The only reason I had two is because my job puts a lot of wear on the cases and I wanted a nice, clean looking case after a year of usage.Some people may not like the built-in plastic front screen protector, but I will say that even though I plan on replacing it with tempered glass when it gets scratched up, it performs very well. It almost feels as if no screen protector is on it at all, but it still is a great protector against scratches and cracks to your original glass screen. I'm sure tempered glass will protect it even better (I actually work in the Glass industry lol), but so far I haven't had an issue with the durability of the plastic.It's overall durability is great as well, I have dropped my phone more than once and have NEVER had any damage done to it with the case installed.Feels good in the hand, sturdy and grippy. I also love the fact that you can see the back glass while still keeping it protected.Overall, great great phone case and I will buy i-Blason until they stop making phone cases👍

I had my concerns but honestly - this DELIVERED. I just got the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and placed this case on it, thinking it was durable enough but unsure just how much the screen protection was as well. Well, one day, during a self-shoot outside --- the wind actually blew so strong that it knocked my tripod down and my phone literally fell flat on its surface with nothing but a pile of ROCKS to catch it. I almost panicked! But when I looked at my phone - ABSOLUTELY FINE. There wasn't even a scratch! I checked for smudges beneath the screen protector just to make sure the phone's screen surface wasn't cracked and - NOTHING. I was so relieved AND amazed. So, yes, I recommend - this case and its screen protector is actually pretty good.

This is my 2 nd case in 3 years. The best I ever own. I have dropped my phone so many times and still looks like new.

I've used i-Blason cases before and have been pleased. In fact, the case on my iPhone 11 Pro Max was an I-Blason and was just fantastic so I ordered this one without hesitation before my iPhone 12 Pro Max even arrived.As expected it fits well and seems to be durable and sturdy and offer enough protection for the inevitable phone drop. My issue is the Qi charging. Qi charging works when I use any of the "lie flat" chargers I have. The issue is that on my Yootech wireless charger stand the phone will no longer charge with this case on. Worked perfectly with the I-Blason case on the iPhone 11Pro Max but not with this I-Blason case on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The Yootech wireless charger stand charges the phone without the case perfectly just not when this case is on.I really like the case so may try and find another charging stand but at the same time I may opt to change cases. Something's gotta give as the movie says . . .

I used this brand's case on my iPhone XS max and just bought this version, when I upgraded to iPhone 12 Pro Max. My son has his iPhone XR in this case, as well as my wife. When it came time to trade in those phones, they were in like new condition due to the protection these cases provide. I had an incident with my XS Max in this case, where it was dropped against the corner of a brick fireplace. The bult in screen protector was damaged, and just the tiniest scratch on the screen itself from the blow, from the brick corner. Without this case, I would have needed a new phone screen. I look forward to using this with my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. I have a magsafe charger from apple and it works well with this case.

This case is actually better than I thought. It wasn't that hard to take apart and out your phone inside (install). It seems durable enough although I haven't dropped the phone on a hard floor or concrete yet. And I was pleased that it hasn't scratched so easily like other models like this in the past. Plus, it's easy to clean, I use a soft cloth with just a bit of moisture to clean the front and back. Than use a microfiber cloth square to take off all the streaks, etc. That's about all I can expect, the screen does have those micro dots but the image is still clear and easy to see with the built in screen saver over it. Not much bad I can say about it!

My only complaint is the screen protector. It easily scratches and lint can get under the plastic screen protector through the front camera and speaker cut outs. After a week the screen protector failed and was scratched up badly when I left my wireless earbud case in my bag with my phone. So I just removed the plastic screen protector with some heat to remove the glue around the frame and used my own screen protector which can fit with this case. Other complaint is the sides around the case are not flat their slanted.

With every new model of phone, they have the right design and durability. The only downside is that if you have a screen protector over your phone, the plastic screen that comes with the case will conflict with the screen protector you may have, so you have to decide on one or the other. Otherwise, they are worth what you pay for.
