Installed on my 66 bug and it sounds great, clear and love the look. The installation was a bit time consuming but while worth it!

Great Stereo for a classic VW!
I'm really happy with the stereo. I'd say that the hardest part is the installation. So if that is something you don't have a lot of experience with, you might want to take it to a car audio shop to have it installed. I put it in an 1963 VW Beetle and it looks great! I also got the Retrosound Speaker that mounts in the dash and the combination make for some great sound. Running BluTooth is fairly easy and the knobs on the stereo actually control your smartphone so that you can send a next or previous command. The stereo includes a microphone that is easily hidden for hands free calling. I called Retrosound support a couple of times and they were helpful and friendly. Retrosound rocks!

Does not look like an am radio
Well I give this 2 thumbs down not for the fact it’s over priced for what it isThe face plate had to be opened ul with a file it dint not even come close to fitting ( I cam accept that ) chroming plastic gets weirdBut when the pictures are not what is looks like cosmetics are why it was purchased it is sold as looking like an am radio it looks like a nice Sony from the early 80’sI’m sure I’llGrow to hate it before I disassemble this car for pant to finish the refurbAll in all it’s way out of place in the car
