I had to search Amazon to find this type of grabbing device. This device is mostly metal.So, it grabs an item well. I make a modification, the folding feature I duck tape.So, it doesn't fold, the device works longer.Life span of device 2 years.The popular grabbing device is all plastic, I don't like those. Because the part that grabs is all plastic it doesn't conform to the shape of the item your picking up. Hope this review is helpful.

Very grabby indeed. Does rust in some spots. A keeper.

Okay product. Only gripe I have is the folding keeps folding up during use.

Very unhappy with product. Folds when trying to use the item. Would not stayed locked in open position.

The feature to collapse it is not robust. If you don't really need this feature, but one without it. I would not buy this again.

will not lock into place (either pair). I run a professional grounds care company and these are definitely not made for heavy-duty litter pick-up on properties. Very flimsy. Switching to "tongs" that seem to be more sturdy, as they don't have any moving parts. The plastic handles are fragile and can easily be chipped, cracked, broken

Really enjoy having this tool. Seems like its well built. Hope it will last long term. These help me get things done with minimal back pain. Light weight, easy to use!
