I ordered quite a few of these, received a differently packaged product but it is good. You need to boil it, use not just the water but also the pulp of the nut after boiling. It lathers just fine but it won't lather too much on dirty, greasy or oiled hair you need to wash your hair with proper soap first and then the reetha will lather in your hair. It makes hair squeaky clean, I've been using it with homemamde lemon bioenzyme and it has made my hair really shiny and a little light coloured. The volume of myhair has increased. Only downside is that it's a hassle to use and make and it's a little dry but much better than chemicals and surfactants used in other shampoos.
