Upgrade Band Saw Urethane Tires - 14" x 1" x .095" (2 Pack) Compatible with Jet, Grizzly, and Powermatic Band Saws

These fit my Jet 14 inch bandsaw perfectly. They were a bit of a challenge to install but not nearly as bad as I expected based on some other reviews. I used a couple spring clamps to hold the tire in the groove on the wheel and two large screwdrivers to stretch and slide the tire onto the wheel as I worked one of the clamps the rest of the way around. Before pulling the screwdriver out after completing the circle I replaced it with a round shaft Phillips screwdriver driver and pulled that around the wheel under the tire a couple times to even out the tension. The first wheel took about 15 minutes with the learning curve but the second one only took 5 minutes. Saw runs much more smoothly with no vibration. Any sawdust on the wheel after running can be easily brushed off so it doesn't continue to pack and build up.

It's a little work getting them on the pulley, but they fit great. Hope they last longer than rubber, it dries out and breaks. The orange looks good to! The blade runs smooth and tracks good!

I bought these tires (half Grizzly’s price) to replace original ones on my band saw. At first I thought they were too short when they wouldn’t fit over the wheel. I first removed the top wheel, secured it in a vise, and after removing the wet tire soaking in warm water (a person’s suggestion) it slipped into the groove (repeated the bottom wheel) and the saw worked perfectly. Although people install them on the saw with screwdrivers, etc., I found the extra time taken to remove and stabilize the wheels is worth the effort and possible damage from overstretching the tires. Those who have said the tires are too short are likely mistaken since the length is necessary to prevent slippage on the wheels. As for the longevity of these tires hopefully they last. 🤞

Good quality but brutal to install on my 14" Jet bandsaw. Tire was perfect but install took me hours and at least 6 clamps.Should have heated longer to facilitate the stretch.

I like this better than the Powermatic model. Also, it was not as hard to install.

Everything fit perfectly except for the tires on the wheel that the band saw blade goes around on they were too wide and a bit on the small side so I cleaned up the old ones and reused those
