Vicks Non Contact Infrared Body Thermometer HTD8813EE, 450 g

Product itself is small, light weight, easy to use & accurate, used on whole family age ranging 11-40 while we’ve had Covid-19.It has 3 colours that appear on the screen to determine the severity of your temperature, green, amber & red to help you know if your good, to be alert, or to get medical advice, the only thing I was rather disappointed with was the length of time it stayed on the screen as I felt it cuts off too quickly , it would have been better if you could set this length yourself, especially if your like me & like to record temps for future reference by snapping a pic so I know who’s temp was what at what time to be able to compare it with the next reading as when your looking after a family of 5 it can be confusing trying to remember🤪Bought it on 16/01/22 with 10% off for £11.89 instead of £13.26 which I thought was an average fair price for what it is as it’s no different to the others out there other than it’s blue💁🏼‍♀️…but now exactly a week later when I came to leave a review on 23/01/22 the price has changed to £44.32!I find this an absolute disgrace & don’t understand the need to increase it by this much! It certainly isn’t a worthy price!If it’s at the lower price then go for it, it would be well worth £11-£14, but if your reading this review & the price is still £40+ then I’d personally advise you to go look for the cheaper versions with good reviews☺️Stay happy, stay healthy🙃

Very good, quick and easy for monitoring changes in temperature

If you are hot, you're going to need one of these! They measure without touching, about 1-2cm from you skin is best. Seems to be accurate, as i have tested with another older thermometer, and the results tally well. Easy to use too.

Very clear big screen colour change 👌 over to red at100 f. Also does room Temperature. Accurate ideal for everyone even if sleeping as it is no cough tactA brilliant purchase.

When we first attempted to use this item we kept getting an error. This was due to it coming in from the car when it was freezing cold. The gun needs to be stored somewhere where the temperature is above a certain degree, after leaving it for half an hour in the living room it worked just fine. An essential product to have in the house.

Had this thermometer for 8 months, suddenly stopped giving temperature readings. Would have thought it would last longer. Contacted vicks support, not much help other than basic troubleshooting of changing batteries and factory reset. Still doesn't take temperatures and will only show the message 'lo'

It's very accurate by about by 0.1 to 0.2 degrees. Very easy to use and also can take surface temperatures.The product comes with batteries so it can be used straight out of the box. When reading temperatures the digital gauge changes colours in a traffic light system, green , amber and red for higher temperatures.For the price and free delivery to the local post office you can't go wrong.
