I love reading these to my 4yo
We love these books in our house.I also bought 3 packs of it to include with the goodie bag for my 4yo’s birthday.Be warned that many of the stories is around death (of animals like hunting or animals being eaten by animals like in the three little pigs). But that helped us talk about life and death to our kid.

“The cobra died a horrible death” 😯 Not suited for young children in North America!
This book was clearly written or originated in a country where mutilating and killing other animals violently is a common, every day of life.Fortunately, most of North America’s children are somewhat sheltered from the violence of killing and hurting one another. Animals are considered inspirational and typically encourage love and acceptance.Furthermore, this book is poorly written as it’s converted from another language. It contains odd outcomes at the end of each story, which the author considered as “morals” but are unfortunately just a top of the food chain, “kill or be killed” view on life.“ Soon thousands of ants came out of the ant hill and climbed onto his body. … The cobra started bleeding and died a horrible death.” 😯“Such an UGLY ant hill in front of my home. I will demolish it first!”“ The lion was delighted by the news. He attacked and killed the ram with ease. The end.” 🤦♀️This content is SO awful to read to a young person before bed! DO NOT BUY. I’m super embarrassed.——Side note: “Wonder House Publishing” must be a back-office operation for ever putting their name on this poor quality.

Poorly written
These short stories have a few good moral lessons but are poorly written, overdramatic, violent, and much of the context and the lessons they’re trying to teach are not relatable for many children. Instead of being uplifting the stories assume the worst in people. Some of the illustrations are crude.I teach Hindi to children (in the US) to children born and raised here and I use these stories mainly as inspiration for ideas to create my own. Out of the collection, I have shared 1-2, at the most, without my own alterations.
