FRAY BENTOS BEEF & GRAVY PIE.
VERY ENJOYABLE MEAL AND A GREAT IMPROVEMENT ON SOME OF THE READY MEALS I HAVE EATEN DURING THE PAST FEW WEEKS. THE ITEM WAS BAKED IN 30 MINUTES. IT WAS NOT A CASE OF HUNT THE MEAT THAT HAPPENS WITH SOME OF THE READY MEALS THAT I HAVE PURCHASED. I WILL BUY AGAIN.

My favourite pie! I don't understand how this brand gets knocked so much, and such good value.

Good
I love the taste of these pies. But the only problem I've found with them is that the pastry doesn't cook right through, which leaves a layer of uncooked pastry under the top layer of crispy pastry. I'm not sure how to overcome this issue, but I think next time I cook one I'll try taking the pastry off the top and cooking it separately. Unless anyone has a better idea about what to do.
