Bright and fun!
These light up eyes are so fun for Halloween. I had 4 pairs of battery operated peepers but only 1 would work this season (they are 3 years old). I usually put them out around October 1 and would have to replace the batteries at least once before Halloween. Since 3 of the sets bit the dust it was time to order new ones. I was so excited to find the plug-in version. No more batteries! They are just as bright as the battery operated ones (maybe brighter). The eyes randomly light up and give the effect that there is a creature in the bushes peeking out. They are so fun!

Scary Eyes!
I hid these ‘Scary Eyes’ in the bushes along our driveway for Halloween. Everyone loves them! So far, so good!

The chords are short but great decoration
The chords are short. I bought two, hoping I could connect them to two bushes on each side of my walkway (the width of a sidewalk), but that wasn't going to happen. So, I tried to hang them on two bushes within 8-12" from each other and that couldn't happen either. So, I had to hang all of them on the same bush, which worked out just fine. The hooks to hang each set of eyes proved to be useless, too. Some I hooked on the branches, others, I just shoved into the bush b/c having to "weave" the eyes through the front of a bush (so close together) was difficult - especially getting the hook the right way. A couple hooks were simply upside down. Had I turned the eyes so the hook was on the top, I would have compromised the length of the chord to string the rest. I think a clip on the back of each set of eyes might be a better option. So, overall, the product was great when it came to originality and looks/ functionality in the night for Halloween, but the design has little to be desired. I am only glad I didn't purchase more to string throughout the bushes in the front of my house. I would have been sorely disappointed.

FUN stuff!
We have another set of these that finally failed after about 5 years, so I got these to replace them. They're a little different now, in color at least, but the eyes look about the same. Same plastic, same cord, etc. They're really fun at nighttime, especially putting them into corn stalks, like they're peeping out. We always get compliments on them!Really fun to add to your Halloween decorations.

Great accessory for a finishing touch!
I use these every Halloween for the month of October. These are the first decorations up doing the Peep-Eye windows with 4 sets. Other sets go in random bushes around the property. My oldest sets (2009) are still going. The plastic has held up to UV and the sets have only needed a few replaced lamp bulbs. Definitely a decoration well-worth buying.

Not good for us
So I couldn’t give 1 or 2 stars, because they did work and were kind of cute. The bad things that made them unusable for us- the wire between each set of eyes was inches. I planned to put these on a row of 7 bushes, hoping to put one of every other. I couldn’t even put one on each of the middle ones because there was no slack in the line. Second, they didn’t blink nicely. Well, they don’t blink at all. The light up and go off really fast. Too fast. They just didn’t work for us at all, so we returned them. But they worked and maybe they would work for someone else. Just know that with multiple boxwoods all planted right up against/touching each other, there wasn’t enough slack to put them on separate bushes. Maybe really tiny, less than 4 yrs old like ours.

Creepy yet cool and funny, plus unique Halloween lights
I can't wait to use these lights next year. I wish I had found them earlier. These are creepy yet cool and funny at the same time. Quite unique compared to all Halloween lights.Pros:*Indoor and outdoor usage.*Rotating hooks for easy hanging, you can use suction cups if hanging in a window, or you can drap the lights in the bushes.*Eyelids can rotate for different expressions.*Energy efficient (only 54 cents - $1.02 per year for electricity if you ran it 24/7).*Multiple connections (up to 3 strings).*Connectors at both ends.*One spare bulb is provided.*You can purchase a 3 pack of the 7 Watt/120 Volt blinking bulbs for $5.75 plus $2.95 for shipping and handling on their website MysticIndustries.com.Cons:*Not LED (however the operating cost crazy low, so it's not a true con).*Only 1.5 feet lead of wire before the first set of eyes. You will most likely need an extension cord, which is typical, so it's not a show stopper.I saw that Wal-mart had sold these online at 2 for $26 plus tax, so it's a wash compared to the sale price on Amazon. Overall, all the positives outweigh the (minor) negatives. I definitely would recommend these flashing eye lights to friends and family.

Great Halloween Decoration - Look Very Good in Bushes
These lights are a great outdoor Halloween decoration! Everyone who has seen them comments on how good, and even a bit creepy, they look. They're very good at attracting attention. They're simple to hang in a bush since each set of eyes has its own hook, which is able to rotate as needed. There is also enough cord between each set of eyes so they don't have to be right on top of each other. There is also a socket on the end of the cord so that either another set of flashing eyes or other lights can be attached. I have two sets for two different bushes. Even with the variety of weather that occurs here in October (rain, snow, severe cold), these lights have held up through it all.
