I've used these cards multiple times over the years with mixed results.It's ultimately up to how well your dog is with having its paws handled and with touching foreign surfaces in my opinion.The thin ink media material can rip when trying to use.It would be helpful if these came with some type of reusable sticky to hold in place.I used Scotch Restickable Mini Tabs For Mounting.I have a beagle medium sized dog.I used some thin cardboard or cardstock to create a template to attach to the card's surface and also to hold the ink pad in place to try to center my dog's paw print. If I don't use something to hold the ink pad in place I'll end up with a smudged paw print. After capturing the paw impression and removing the ink pad, I set the cards aside to dry for at least 24 hours before attempting to sign them or put in envelopes to prevent smudging.Using the restickable mounting tabs helps to cleanly remove the ink pad from the cards surface without tearing.I've had to purchase extra ink sheets because my dog's nail tore through the ink sheet that is included.It would be nice if the cards were made with a printable surface to add a photo as well, but I guess you could always tape one on if you wanted.I don't have one handy but will try to add a photo at a later date.

Had a struggle getting my dogs colar in the bandana but once it was on it looks fabulous! Would buy again due to the great price

I love it. The text is sewn and looks rly nice. My dog usually wears size M in tie on bandanas, so I was worried this would be too small, but it looked great!
