Delivery was very good, and on time. Many thanks.The product I received is a bit different to the product shown. The traps had no labels on them. The trap mechanisms are touching, making the setting of the trap difficult. Difficult in respect that they have to be prized apart to allow setting, firmly and with care. I've used two other branded mole traps, and this trap is the firmest I've used. However, I've used all the ones I ordered (with care)From my experience of using mole traps I do believe they will loosen up over time. Hopefully :)My reason for a four star is, the 'O' ring is a little bigger whether this is an advantage, or not, only time will tell. I will report back. For now, I'm reasonably pleased with this product.

These look like any other similar trap but I found that the hook mechanism on three out of four didn't hold the spring in place correctly and either didn't hold or was triggered by any movement, like setting it. A combination of the smooth metal and the hook being pushed due to the spring force meant the traps were unusable. A slight bend of the hook with plyers solved it. So, didn't work as expected without modification. After some days of use the silver coating was wearing off and some signs of rusty appearing so not totally rust proof

Only set one trap and caught a very evasive mole that has managed to dodge getting caught in multiple other kinds of traps.Highly recommend using these

I'm good mechanically but found these impossible to set up. There's a danger of taking off your own fingers !

Simple to use. I bought new ones of this version after losing a set underground (thanks kids for removing the marking flags!)I've always found this type of trap very effective when you know how to set them in the run between mole hills (see online videos for advice on that)This do what they are meant to.

I long time ago when Amazon allowed comments, I reviewed a mole trap and one would have thought I'd started WW3. The 'moles are fluffy' brigade became extremely hot under the collar and only just stopped short of threats. Those who live in the country and have to deal with these pests were of course the opposite. If you have moles in your garden or paddock etc. then you know. They are devastating creatures and can very quickly turn a lawn into a WW1 battlefield scene and if you have livestock those holes are leg breakers.And boy, do I have a mole problem. My large garden is surrounded by trees where moles overwinter among the roots to emerge onto the battlefield of my lawn in spring where they cause utter mayhem. It's like the Mongol hordes appearing from the Steppes to sweep down and destroy all before them sometimes. I kind you not when I say that each year I have to deal with at least 30 moles.Anyway, I've used all the main types of trap and by far these are the best, or at least the best type. They are light, and by far have been the best at dealing with the furry beasts wrecking destruction below.Slightly more tricky to set than the single claw type and you have to be properly careful to not get nipped by them, once set they do the best job of all.Bottom line? These are the only ones I buy now.
