Great paint cans for storing the leftovers
I haven't rated 'sheerness' as I have no idea what it means in relation to this product.Good, sturdy cans with tight-fitting lids. Exactly what I was looking for to store left-over paint. Also useful when the original tins have got too messy or the lids will no longer close firmly.I labelled mine, adding a colour swatch for easy identification. Job done.

Good quality - just ordered more - wish they were a bit less costly though
These are solid/well made. No sharp edges. Close firmly. I don't think they can leak.To those who complain about corrosion, this can happen to the tins that the paint comes in and is not a reflection of the quality of these tins. Don't leave paint to get congealed on the top of the tin and it should be alright.Once closed tightly, you can store it upside down so that the paint seals.

HANDY REPLACEMENT TINS
Wanted to tidy garage and bought to refresh some farrow and ball paint. used a paint filter and decanted into these tins so now a neat stack of costly paint in good tins. Printed some labels and covered with plastic film

cation when fitting lids
Does the job but very thin and lids need care when fitting

Ruined the paint
Poured my leftover paint into one of these tins about two months ago. Went to use the paint for a touch up job and the inside of the rim was coated in rust which had affected the top of the paint too. Had to scoop top layer of paint off and throw away. Poured paint into a different tin, hoping first one was just faulty. One week later there is rust inside the rim. When I stir the paint the silver off the inside of the tin bleeds into the paint. The photo shows a piece of kitchen laser used to wipe inside the rim. You can see the rust and the silver colour. These paint pots are unusable and I will throw them away.
