The pic I uploaded shows my old fan on the left (I think 7 years old) and the new one I just purchased on the right. The only reason I bought a new one was because I dropped my old fan and the charging port got knocked out of alignment. Honestly, these fans are so reliable and last. My old fan has traveled well with me on all kinds of road trips and also to other countries where weather was hot & sometimes humid. It has 3 speeds and the air flow is incredible for a little fan like this. I love how compact it can be where I can fold it in half and keep it in my purse. I just charge it overnight and it’s ready to use for hours the next day. And if you’re going through menopause it’s a lifesaver through all the hot flashes that come on suddenly while you’re out & about. In fact buy two! One to keep at home (easy to use while prepping to cook-I get hot preparing dinner) & one for travel. Worthy purchase!

These are great small fans you can throw in a purse or backpack and take with you anywhere. I got one for me and my best friend to use while taking breaks at a botanical gardens when we went in early June. They help a lot and throw out a lot of air for small fan.

UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS: Almost 2 years after purchasing, I am looking forward to another Spring and Summer with this fan in my purse. I live in Central Texas. It gets really hot here, and I started carrying this fan along with me any time I expected to be so hot that I would sweat standing still. It got to be such a common occurrence that eventually I began to keep the fan in my purse all the time during the hotter months. Because I use it so frequently, several friends and family members have seen me using it, asked to try it, and gone on to buy themselves one too. I even bought myself a second EasyAcc Handheld Fan 20hr so that when one runs low, I can swap it out for the fully charged one and never have to be without.The battery life is still very good, even after all this time and use. I now have this fan in White and Black, and have seen the Green. My favorite is the white. It is a slightly pearlized off-white rather than flat or glossy, and I think it looks particularly nice, almost streamlined and chic. The handle also folds to become the base for use as a desk or table fan, with the angle almost infinitely adjustable. It can even fold completely flush against the back of the fan casing to save space. It's a great little fan in so many situations. It has really held up well in both appearance and function, especially considering it spends a lot of time in a handbag.ORIGINAL REVIEW from July 23, 2021: This fan was a lifesaver on our vacation flights this summer. I brought it with me in my carryon bag (the smaller one that fits under the seat in front of you), and twice had to use it during a very warm boarding and taxiing and takeoff procedure. They never turned the air on at all on one 2.5-hour flight, and my 2-year-old son and I shared because he needed to cool off too. It has an excellent stream of air on high that is still pretty quiet. I was so grateful to have it and look forward to using it for a long time to come, for trips and at home.

At first I didn’t like how thick and bulky it was, but as I compared it to several other mini fans this one moves the most air, has the most variability with its 5 speeds, is relatively quiet compared to all of them and is designed well to allow the most adjustment of angles whether it’s worn or on a surface. I was surprised that the phone holder does work (I imagine if it gets dusty it won’t) as it’s just two thin lines of rubber. If there’s any room for improvement they could add a light to the mirror and maybe a telescopic feature so it can be raised taller, but it’s already pretty hefty and bulky. Battery lasts a long time so far. Pleased overall.

The lowest speed on this fan has been adequate for me up to hot days in the 90s. Cools even from 4 feet away. Battery life is surprisingly good. Very quiet out of box, but hum has gotten a bit louder with use.I like the removable battery design in this older model, as I can replace the no-brand unprotected 18650 cell with my own of higher capacity if needed. Battery compartment is tight, especially because the bottom spring is long. Protected cells will not fit. In fact, the shrink wrap at the positive end came chafed. Just to be safe, I removed and rewrapped the cell. (A li-ion cell with damage to the shrink wrap and/or insulation around the positive end can be very dangerous!). Because the battery compartment is so tight, I can't remove the cell by grabbing it. I have to tap the handle against my hand to slide out the positive end before I can grab it with any amount of purchase. When reinerting the cell, to avoid scraping the shrink wrap, insert the bottom end just partially into the compartment and then push in the top end by the same amount, then push in the middle of the cell all the way in.The fan can tailstand but can easily be knocked over. If tailstanding is important to you, look for other fans with a separate base. The fan can be set down on its handle with the head angled back, but it easily rolls over because of the narrow handle cross section. You could just leave it with the head against the surface, but then it gest louder with the vibrations.Get it in white if you'll be using it in the sun for extended periods, to keep it as cool as possible.

This fan works great and is powerful and great for my hot flashes. It holds a charge for weeks. It is convenient for travel as the handle folds.
