Light weight compliment to paracord.
I love paracord and keep plenty on hand, however this twine is an excellent supplement as it is thinner and much lighter. It makes a great EDC cordage option while allowing you to carry paracord in your bag(s). Highly recommend this and the company ships quickly and delivers a quality product.

I now have two years experience using this product to affix labels to trees
The cord is as advertised. My use of it is for long-term mounting of tree labels. I'll try to update this review after the labels have been affixed to the trees for several years.Update: The cord works well. I have used Gorilla Glue to stiffen the end of the cord so it can be inserted into a hole drilled in the tree to be labeled. It is sealed in the hole with grafting wax. After the tree grows for one season, the label is firmly anchored and will not need new mounting, or backing off of screws for twenty years! Two years later: The cord has performed perfectly, no sign of abrasion from flexing in the wind. (This happened with another, thinner cord, also an Emma Kites product). The product under review is now firmly sealed in the tree trunk, with four to six inches of cord, will not have to be reset for ten to twenty years.

Read the article name very carefully...!
The picture shown looks likes a large spool of Kevlar thread. The actual length of the cordage is 30 feet, or a little less than 10m!! The spool is only about 1/2" in height and is NOT full. I'd say about 50% of the spool's diameter contains cordage. Clearly I need to read more closely! That said, I received what I (actually) ordered and it arrived promptly and in good condition. When I deploy the cordage, I'll consider updating this post. THis may be enough to do what I wanted, so I cannot complain too much.I gave 3 stars because the picture used for this article was NOT representative of what you will receive.
