Draw-Tite Tekonsha 118378 T-One® T-Connector Harness, 4-Way Flat, w/Circuit Protected ModuLite® Module, Compatable with 2001-2002 Toyota Tundra

CORRECTION: Originally reported as a bad fit, I have since located the correct 11-pin connector, tucked away in a corner and covered in crud, but fully functional when cleaned up. Too soon to say how well the double-sided tape mounting will hold up but, following other reports of this falling off, I used brake cleaner on both the painted area and the harness module, (use sparingly!) to be sure of clean, uncontaminated surfaces.Kit includes both the rear harness and the necessary short front harness, (1-pin connector to battery positive terminal), with included fuse holder, (15A max.). Haven't hooked to a trailer, yet, but the 4-pin meters out OK.

Great instructions with the product and was easy to install. Toyota should get some credit for designing the preexisting plug ins for towing lights. The only thing that could have been better with the kit is the main module that mounts above the rear license plate under the truck is the self adhesive used is pretty much useless. Even with thorough cleaning of the area the thing stuck for about 5 minutes. There are however 2 fins that are on the adhesive side that resemble a mounting plate or bracket that can be attached for a secure mount. They are moulded on and have a groove that was clearly designed for something like a mounting bracket but one wasn't included so I made one out of a small piece of sheet metal and it's pretty secure.

Product was exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is that if the outgoing wire was just a little longer, you would be able to mount the converter box behind the tail light like the factory converter instead of having to mount it on the frame. As far as I know, no aftermarket connector mounts behind the light.

IT is saved me from having UHAUL charge me some outrageous price for labor and parts.The instruction are simple and it is easy, the only tools that I needed was a screw driver and a 12 mm socket for the battery attachment.I am delighted and want to say thank you!

Was glad to see it is made by Tekonsha. Direct plug-in to replace the failed old Draw-Tite adapter.

I have a 2001 Toyota Tundra and this plugged right in Took me about 20 mins to hook it all up. Works great.

An excellent-looking well-made product, unfortunately the harness sent DID NOT fit our 2002 Tundra! The front adapter for the harness up by the battery was fine, but the adapter for the rear connector above the bumper was about two time bigger than the factory harness connector it was supposed to plug-in to, with a completely different pin setup (see picture attached.) Probably a mix-up with a part sent for a later-year Tundra, as the package was marked correctly as for 2001-2002 Tundra. That said, have to give it a 1-star rating since this is a major quality control issue, they should be able to send the correct parts for the vehicle as ordered, not some random item. Returned item, and unfortunately cannot take a chance on ordering another from this vendor, as it may or may not be the correct one when received, apparently.
