I love these. They work great. They fit well in the nesting boxes and are substantial to keep eggs on a soft surface and chickens happy. The girls don’t tear them up and I haven’t noticed any leaking through them. My nesting boxes are always clean when I remove the pads and they are simple to switch out when it’s time for new ones. It’s one thing about cleaning the coop that is quick, easy, and no mess. Great quality. I have bought these three times now and will continue to use them.

Purchased 6 months ago. The pads are holding up well. My chickens did not like them at first as chickens hate change but they got used to them after a few days. I have a couple different kinds of nesting boxes and these fit them all. The only reason I've had to change individual pads out within 6 months is because of unexpected cleanliness not performance of pads. Some ARE 6 months old and still doing fine. If a hen gets poop on a pad you can simply tear off that spot of Aspen instead of throwing entire pad out. Pads are reasonable thickness and durable. They do fray but I'm not concerned with it, its better than having shavings all over the sand floor! Will purchase again if on sale.

Great for nesting boxes ! They stay clean so the hens can use the same ones for a week or even longer. The nesting pads form to their bodies as they use them which forms a cozy nest. I add fragrance herbs sometimes and since I’m not replacing the pads often , the herbs are not wasted. I also use them in the tray instead of loose bedding. The poo sits on top of the pad and I can just shake it off and replace. They still have to be replaced every few days because they eventually get dirty but you can pull off the top layers when they are soiled and continue to utilize the pad. Lastly, I just used them in my brooder for my baby chicks. The loose litter kept getting into their water so I placed an extra large dog potty pad into my brooder and added a couple nesting pads , spread the pad material out and placed water dispensers on one of them . Problem solved! I was cleaning water containers every hour and suddenly I could actually leave for awhile knowing the chicks had access to clean water. I’m continuing to buy these nesting pads even though they initially seem like a more expensive option than loose bedding . I have found that they are worth any extra cost and are safe and natural to be around my hens. I have 4 yearlings and 5 that are two months... so only a small flock. Thx

These are my go-to nesting box mats. I've been using these for my flock of 15 hens for about a year and love them. Occasionally, some of the bedding will come away on an egg but never a lot. Very seldom have any broken eggs and when an accident has happened, it's easy to just pull the mat out and slap in a new one.

We use these as a staple in our coop year round. Excellent product

The chickens tear these mats up so much, I'm constantly having to re-apply. brown paper everywhere. Best to remove the brown paper on the bottom before putting them in the nesting boxes.

I love these for my chickens. They are sturdy and stay clean a very long time. The hens seem to like them. They aren't flimsy. Even after they've gotten soiled, they're intact for removal, except where my girls have violently shredded them. A good product for the money!
