The right tool for the job.
Ideal tool for splitting bamboo poles up to 4”. I make picture frames and this is perfect. Using a medium weight mallet is a big help with this tool.

Great Bamboo cutter vary sharp
It will go through even old bamboo and no matter what diameter or size it does a great job

Not good, Broken after 27 poles
The center snapped off, useless. I see others have the same experience. Save your money, do not buy. 30 day window is not enough time for testing such a product. This appears to be heavy duty but it is made of some alloy that just doesn’t hold up.

Quick delivery, splitter works good. Splitting 1/4 to 1&1/2" diameter bamboo. Would recommend.

This works perfect for splitting bamboo. Compared to the way I use to do it and it is much safer.

It works very well for the proper size bamboo

Broken after splitting about 30 timber bamboo
It worked for a short while. After about my 30th split with it, one handle snapped and made it non-functional.
