A bit pricey for what it is. But it does its job well. Easy to change out media. Not noisy at all.

I gave this four stars because the service kit did not come with the tool to remove the rubber fitting that the propeller attaches to. Also, there are many o-rings that I don't know where they go and there was no lubricant to put on the o-rings. After doing the service on my Fluval FX4 filter, two days later, I had to open the motor housing again because the rubber ends that hold the plastic arm came off and caused the propeller to come loose. I ended up having to superglue the rubber ends on to prevent them from falling off.

Exactly what I needed to service my FX4 at a reasonable price.

Never know when one may need to do a little repair work. Better to have a backup and be safe with no loss of Fish.

My filter stopped working so I figured I would give this kit a try. Saved me over $300 on a new filter! Easy to install and get the filter up and running!
