Q: I am considering this mat for my wood deck. It gets full sun all day. Will the mat get hot?

I am not sure. My mat is on a landing in front of the side door to my house. It doesn't see a lot of sun. We do have high winds here and the mat doesn't move. It has been great and durable.

Q: 2 Questions: 1st, how much does the 20" x 30: mat weigh? 2nd, will this mat sink or float if placed in water?

Q: Will this scratch or damage the epoxy coated floor in my garage? I believe it has metal in the rubber from the bias-ply bus and truck tires. Thanks.

It is possible if the mat's edges get turned to where the metal wire that holds it together touches the floor.

Q: Is this mat trimable to a smaller size. Needing one that is 36" X 18"

probably not. it is extremely durable (threaded with steel rods). is the only mat we have found that the dog cant shred, not even a little bit.

Very durable doormat

This is a very heavy outdoor mat. The sand and dirt fall through mat so the dirt is not carried inside. Highly recommend!
