Good tune up kit for my FX5. Glad the parts cross over with the 6. No leaky seals, and motor is quiet.

Only 4 stars because it doesn’t come with replacements O-rings for the actual on/off valves just where they connect to the lid and no lube/ silicone grease for the O-rings!! 😩 I figured the kit was gonna replace all the O-rings especially those because they are actually moving when doing maintenance on the filter…. I tried going to Lowe’s to find the right size O-ring for them n gave up n just ordered a whole new valve! So fluval please start offering just the O-rings for them!!!!Other then that I’ve had my FX6 for around 6 years n this is 1st time replacing anything on it I installed the entire kit just so I don’t have no more issues or leaks n can’t believe how quite my filter is now! 🤯 I forgot how it sounded brand new and just got used to the noises it made(the actual filter not the water movement which I love n find relaxing) . That new propeller has my filter actually circulating my tank the way it used to brand new 🙏🏻 n it’s completely silent I had to stick my hand infront of the return to know that it was working n man was that thing pushing some water!!!Only thing I will recommend is buying some silicone grease to put on all the O-rings to help them last longer and create a better seal. O-rings tend to wear out faster in water if put in dry with no lube,

So if you have had your filter for 4 or more years you need this kit. I took mine apart and my motor fins were broken and this kit provided everything to reseal your filter to keep it from leaking in the future. Good peace of mind!

My FX6 was making churning noises and stopped pumping water. This kit brought my fx6 back to life. The instructions looked through but I found a youtube video and had my fx6 up and running in about 20 minutes. I will use again in the future.

I had a FX6 that sat for a while unused. After setting it back up for a new aquarium it was leaking from several places, mainly the large gasket At the top of the basket as well as inlet/outlets, likely due to the gaskets dry rotting as they sat unused. Using these gaskets as replacements instantly stopped all leaks on my filter helping prevent floor damage and giving peace of mind

Have had my FX6 for 4 years. Started to make some noise recently but I didn't realize how it had gradually built to that point. Just installed this kit and what a difference! Looks like the water is flowing faster too. A bit on the pricy side but it works!
