Had locksmith come out and went to another locksmith... Both couldn't program keys 😞 stressful and costly!

The “Break - away” bolts did not break away. I’m a strong dude and put a ton of torque on them and they did not snap. The part is working fine. Be more specific about the customer using their old transponder chips in the new keys.

Keys that came with an ignition switch chip inside keys do not match or work with those keys.The chips in inside the keys did not work, a response was sent when I was asked did the product work for me. I stated the ignition switch worked fine but the chips would not register. I spoke to Ashli this morning he said I need to contact NewYall they can possibly send me new chips for the keys, what I need is a phone number so I can contact NewYall. Can someone get me a # MY CAR WONT START.

This set was nice, the price is lots better than going to the auto store that wants almost $400. But the issue is that once you get it installed you still can not start the car. The set of keys may have a chip in them, but you can not program them for the US car.At first we could not even put the old key next to it to start it. But if you want to do that, make sure you break the old key off, so that you can hold the old fob in the exact same position and direction as the new key. Then you need to make sure to cover the new key with foil, so that the chip inside dont send a signal. This will allow you to start the car.If you go to ACE Hardware you can buy a empty fob for under $40, and remove the chip and fob from your old key and place it in the new key from ACE. Have them cut the key to match the new set of keys. The reason you have to buy a new key, is that the keys that come with the new ignition can not be opened up to replace the chip with your excising chip that use to work with the car.Anyway, bottom line. The ignition works great as long as you buy new key sets and swap out the remote and chip with the new one you bought and had cut to the new key.
