Picky Birds love this!
This is really good hummingbird food! We were out of this food and so I went to Lowe's and figured I would just get a different brand. Loaded it in my feeder and the birds would NOT touch it. I finally ordered more of this stuff and the birds come for it non-stop!I could have never imagined the hummingbirds would be picky but I know for a fact they are. They love this food and keep coming day in and day out!

Fade resistant, birds love it
I've been using hummingbird feeders for years. This feeder is by far the best. It doesn't fade keeping its red appearance for quite a while. The birds love it! In fact they fight over it and get so territorial I had to go out and get another feeder. :-)

1st day!
Wow, normally it takes days, even weeks for the hummingbirds to show up, but this was the first day we put it out! So excited!

Easy to mix but no birds yet!
It’s easy to mix but I haven’t gotten any hummingbirds after several days! I would give it 5 stars if I get a hummingbird!

Contains RED Dye
I was not aware that there is a slight controversy over using hummingbird nectar that contains red dye. Google and see for yourself. I found this: "Red Dye No. 40, also known as Allura Red, replaced it as the most widely used red food coloring. This dye has been FDA approved and is used in the food industry. Although it’s approved for human consumption, there is still some suspected risk, particularly in affecting children with behavioral issues. Studies have found that when rats were given high doses of Red Dye No. 40, they had an increased risk of developing tumors. There’s no solid proof of dyes leading to tumors or other adverse effects in hummingbirds, but there is much anecdotal evidence from experienced bird rehabilitators. While more research is needed, it is best to avoid using food products that contain this dye, as well as any other synthetic food dyes."HAD I KNOWN THE ABOVE, I WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT. IT IS NOT RETURNABLE, EVEN IF UNOPENED. So, best to do research before purchasing. Why take a chance because I later found this: "Making hummingbird nectar at home is unbelievably easy, and it’s much better for the birds than store-bought nectar with red dye. To make hummingbird nectar, simply mix four parts water with one part sugar. That’s it! No need to add any food coloring or other ingredients. Be sure to use regular white table sugar, as brown sugar or honey can cause problems for the birds. Change the nectar every few days to keep it fresh, and be sure to clean your hummingbird feeder regularly with hot, soapy water."Enjoy!

Hummingbirds fight over this stuff!
The hummingbirds in my neighborhood fight over this stuff! They LOVE it! I use bottled water to dilute it.
