Very good hardware pack
Best hardware set up I've come across in a while. I play jazz, and I simply don't need heavy hardware. I tried out a single cymbal stand before making this purchase, and was happy with it, so I took the plunge. The hi hat stand is good. Sure, there might be a slight wobble, but it's nothing I can't deal with. Otherwise quite good. Snare stand is good as well. This may not work for you if you wail on your cymbals and snare. But it's dead perfect for jazz and lighter hitting gigs. And it's light. Wonderfully light and easy to carry. I always wondered why I was carrying around such heavy hardware when it's completely unnecessary for the average jazz gig.Bag is made well, and can fit in an extra stand or two if needed. You'll need another bag/solution for your pedal and throne.

Perfect for compact drumsets
Nice and strong bag, very practical, fits all hardware and leaves room for pedals, sticks bag, or whatever I'm carrying.Cymbal stands are amazing, and hi-hat stand surprized me: it works really well, and it's very stable!Weaker piece is the snare stand, that fits perfectly my 3''x13'' Pearl piccolo, but I wouldn't even try it with my 6.5''x14 Ludwig. The stands are beautiful and the retro style worked well with my old Rogers drums.

Great, lightweight stands. Bag a bonus, but mine arrived ripped.
Exactly as advertised as far as the stands. Very lightweight, but relatively sturdy considering, and the low profile legs are very cool. The bag is great, and amazing light when full, even with an additional boom stand from the same line. The bag itself, however, already has torn stitching on the main Velcro closure. Not worth returning it over, but definitely disappointing for an expensive set of stands from what I thought was a premier brand in the industry. Will almost certainly shorten the lifespan of the bag. Just a bummer. But the stands are great. Not recommended for the heavy hitter, or attaching things to the stand (aux percussion, etc). These will hold your drums/cymbals, look great, and your back will thank you. I wouldn’t ask them to do any more than that.

Everything worked well as advertised
DW has always had the reputation as quality equipment. So, when I had a malfunction at a recent gig I searched for a solution to the problem. The DW lightweight cymbal stands (and case) perfectly solved the problem. Thanks DW!

Not what I had hoped for
After using this new hardware pack, in real time, during a pretty important event - I can say the only items that didn't fail on me or disappoint were the 2 light cymbal stands. The HH leg pegs were very difficult to adjust, in real time and I suggest not trying to connect any kind if mount to its base. The snare stand was the worst of the pack.. The stand arms failed me and caused my snare to fall onto me and then completely off the stand to the ground , in the middle of a song. Pretty embarrassing to happen in front of a big audience.Definitely not worth the $500+ this package costs. Wouldn't even pay half of that for it...

The wingnuts started to strip after 4 years one after another. In 4 years played about 200 gigs
After 4 years of using these, the wing nuts started to strip out one after another. In the last 2 years I played about 130 gigs. Maybe 200 gigs in 4 years. But, I'm not hard on the equipment. I tried ordering parts to no avail. I have since given up and purchased the Yamaha Lightweight Crosstown. Hopefully they are better lasting, They are definitely more stable.Totally worth it. Lightweight and durable enough unless you hit like John Bonham!I was reluctant at 1st and brought my heavyweight Hi Hat stand and cymbal stand to the gig just in case. But, I never needed them. The lightweight stands worked great, but only one cymbal per stand. You can’t hang an additional stand to accommodate another cymbal at a 45* angle since the stand would tip.I bought the additional boom stand, but the boom is really short. The hi hat stand stayed put, no traveling. I played 3 solid sets with no problem. This kit with an additional boom stand was about 20lbs which is about 1/3 the weight of my heavyweight stands. I’m happy with the purchase.
