If you like this brand then this is a must for summer sun

1st pic is bare lips 2nd is with a couple coats of this balm.The feel is nice and smooth.I didn't like the smell, it's sort of plastic or wax smelling. The taste is extremely faint but I can tell a very slight sweetness but nothing overpowering.I think for the cost I could have gotten several other balms to do the same thing and even have a nice flavor which I enjoy.I do like that I was able to purchase it with my FSA card.

Lip balm with SPF and a tint of color, sign me up! But wait. This lip balm feels comfortable to wear if lips are already moisturized. This is supposed to have a hint of color. I was excited to try this. I applied multiple layers. But my lips are pigmented and two tone, so they look exactly the same as having clear lip balm. This color just doesn’t show up on me. The stick itself is firm but still kind of glides onto the lips with some effort during application. It’s not as soft as the Up and Up, Super Goop, or Banana Boat SPF lip balms. But once you rub your lips together it feels nice. If my lips were dry, this isn’t going to deliver softness and hydration as well as other products. Anyway, I’m wearing this in the photo but my lips look like this with clear lip balm too. No difference. I wish this had more pigment. The packaging is nice and I don’t think this would melt if you left it in a hot car. Would you pay $12 for “clear” lip balm with SPF? There are others that I like better. This is probably geared towards pale lips, not mine.

This is an OK lip balm - neither extraordinary nor notably bad at moisturizing. It's not particularly long lasting on me, but I have extremely dry skin, so that may be why. I bought it mainly because I wanted some tint and the benefit of sunscreen. I'm assuming the sunscreen works as advertised (haven't been to the beach or tested it in any other way), but the tint is so minimal as to not be noticeable, at least on my skin. I do like that this product is spf 30 as compared with the Sun Bum alternative which I prefer for the tint, but is only spf 15. If your goal is solely sun protection, this may be for you. As for me, I'll probably keep it to use when I know I'm going to be out in the sun but not use it every day as I had hoped.I'm updating my review to a 4. Pretty much everything I said in the original review is still true but I find have been wearing it much more often than I expected I would. I usually put lipstick on as I start my day and then apply this on top as I go about my day and the lipstick wears off. The little bit of color left from the lipstick plus the sun protection of this product strike a good balance for me. My skin is particularly prone to burning and, while I try to limit my time in full sun because of that, I haven't had any lip burning issues while wearing this in everyday sun.

This lip balm had a pretty tint, it went on smoothly and protected my lips in the Aruba sun! What more could I have asked for? Would recommend!

This product has an SPF of 30. It also has a light color, which I appreciate. I carry one in all my bags; purse, golf, biking & one in my home office just because. I gave the COOLA, to my adult daughters and sisters as well. It is not waxy and has no odor.

This is tiny and barely has any tint to it. Wears off quickly.

I have no pigment in my lips so I always wear a lip product and buy SPF balms and sticks for summer months. This product had gave no color to my lips and had a slightly tacky consistency. Not worth the price for a tinted SPF lip balm.
