I have had a lot of trouble finding a CD boombox that would hold up and play very well. So, the reviews on this little player were very encouraging. I bought it, and even though the price is a little high, the boombox plays great and sounds fantastic. So far, I have had nothing but enjoyment when listening to my CD's on this little player. There are a few things that I would have liked to have on this. For example, the player displays the track number, but only for a few seconds, then it just shows the time of the song. If you have to pause a song in the middle, then it will only hold for a few minutes, before shutting off. The problem is, the player will not continue where you left off. So, unless you know what track you are listening to, good luck in continuing where you left off. Also, it doesn't say how long the total CD time is. Also a few other problems with the display. Nothing major, just a few things they could have improved on, but didn't. I do give it 5 stars, as the sound and sturdiness of the CD player is fantastic. So overall, a great player. A little pricey, and the digital display, could have been better. But, if you want a sturdy, well-built CD boombox, then this one is definitely a great choice.I just added this- I had a wonderful time with the customer service. My player was making a small hissing sound. So they sent a new one. Now they both play great, it's just the one that has hissing. Well, they sent a new one and told me to keep them both. That was extremely generous of them. The hissing is only noticeable when the music is not playing, and the player is on. When the music plays, then the noise is impossible to hear. So I have an amazing player in the one unit. And a slightly less than a perfect player in the other one. They were very kind and friendly. Great company to do business with. I will definitely do business with them going forward. Thank you to the Klim company.

Very nice, compact, good sound, amazing FM tuner, rechargeable batteries furnished. This is not for giant pool parties / picnics, but more than sufficient for most activities. Especially like the USB port in front to play my favorite music. Easy to operate once you become familiar with it.

I purchased this radio hoping for a radio with better reception in my home office than my smaller radio. Reception is slightly better that my smaller radio. The rechargeable batteries that come with it do not hold a charge for very long and require repeated re-charging. Also, there is no way to permanently turn off the "disco light" effect around the speakers -- that must be done each time the radio is turned on; no big deal just a pain in the neck. The feature window is readable, the CD player works well; delivers a decent sound from this small unit, and it's well made. Overall, it's a good radio and I would recommend it for use in a home office or kitchen.

The manufacturer recommends you set aside the (four pre-installed) batteries if you plan on mostly using this plugged in. Especially with the batteries removed, this CD player/FM radio is so light and easy to carry that just based on its weight and portability, you would assume its aural output is tinny and/or underpowered. But you would be wrong! To me (I listen mostly to classical music and NPR) this KLIM Boombox has vastly better sound quality than comparable familiar brand name players that regularly go for twice the price. I can't comment on the batteries since I am only using it plugged in, but they are designed to recharge when the player is plugged into a wall outlet. Both the CD player and FM radio features have been very easy to use. I had not heard of KLIM prior to purchasing this item, but based upon this experience, I will look for KLIM in the future.

Not Worth it no volume at all with headphones.

The CD player on my ancient boom box stopped working so I decided to get this one. It's compact, the sound quality is good enough, and it does the job when I can get it to work. Sometimes the electronic controls don't cycle thru the expected menu, but display something else entirely. The power cord also comes out of the back of the player very easily. So not great, but perhaps good enough.

It is very cute and works well. The Controls are easy to use. It even has an antenna for better reception.
