My daughter recently got a gymnastics bar for her birthday and was so excited to start practicing. However, the bar is pretty hard on her hands, and we were looking for some chalk that she can use to practice in the house that doesn’t make a mess. I ordered this for her and placed in a plastic tote and it is great. The quality is just like at her gymnastics gym And does not make a mess all over. Would definitely recommend for anybody looking for great gymnastics chalk.

I use this for rock climbing, not gymnastics, but I find it to be great! It helps because I have sensory issues when it comes to chalk and this is a great option to keep it out from under your nails!!

This chalk works well. But, it does not hold together real well, -as in using the chalk block to chalk the bar. It is very soft and super fragile and breaks apart while rubbing the block across the bar...But as a powder, it works very well.Personally, I like doing both in a gym setting. This does a very good job chalking and is far less messy. -some gyms get sick of the typical meathead making a chalk mess of the platform, etc... Then, they eventually ban all use of chalk!Good price, good product. Just wish the blocks were packed tighter and stayed together better.

I'm a beginner lifter and do strongman training for fun. I use lots of chalk for stone lifting, log press, yoke/frame carries and so on.I've tried a few brands like gym chalk and found them to be super difficult to either A rub on my wrists/chest/thighs or B turn to a nice powder. This 8 pack has been fantastic, big pieces are strong enough to run on my bars and body and soft enough to crumble easily when doing raw lifts.
