Wanted to give 3 stars but that's probably a little harsh.
So I started getting the 72-hour kits in a monthly subscription just to start saving away a little extra food. Saw a good 4th of July sale and ordered a 4 week kit and some more 72-hour kits. I decided that maybe I'd better actually open one up and see what they're all about. So I didI opened up a 72-hour bag and was surprised to see 3 large pouches. 1 pouch for breakfast, one for lunch and 1 for dinner. This confused me because the kit is for 1 person for 72 hours but I 3 bags with 4, 8 and 8 servings per bag. Maybe I didn't research it enough but I would have expected 9 individual bags. 1 bag for each meal, each day. Why, in an emergency situation, would I want to make all these meals on day 1? Just doesn't make sence to me.I made and ate the Mac and cheese. While looking nothing like the picture, not surprised, it was perfectly edible and I would have no problem eating in an emergency situation or any time for that matter. It was pretty runny and a bit salty but I had no problem eating it. Will finish off this kit in the next day or so.While I think these are great to have I think I may stop my subscription and look for something else that fits with my train of thought a bit better. I may end up right back to this though and I have no problem with that

UPDATE: Warning item not returnable so replacement may be difficult! BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!!
A Burger mix, Tropical drink, Pancake and Buckaroo Stew pouch were all perforated. I had to inventory anyway, but the tub with the tropical drink was very dusty! I also found the top of one of the lids cracked. The entire corner is barely connected and long term storage will be a problem. There is no means to ask for a replacement for these items since it is deemed a non returnable item! So beware, these are not inexpensive and if your box received more damage than mine you'd be out some bucks!I reached out to their website and they offered replacements, even for the lid! No questions, I just showed the above pictures and the invoice. THANKS!!!

Great product that tastes good.
Really good food, pleasantly surprised. Ordered these as a trial and based on these items I will expand my inventory. All meal packs were very tasty and were of sufficient capacity to feed multiple people.

Not really what I was expecting
Ok, right off the bat I want to say that I haven't eaten these yet as they are an emergency food supply so I don't know how they taste, but I gave them five stars for taste because I'm taking them at their word. And the thing that bugs me about the product could just be that the producers of the product had a different view for how these would be used than I did. But I purchased them for an emergency "go bag" for situations such as, after a natural disaster, or if I got stranded somewhere and needed to have emergency rations. The product is advertised as 72 hours of food for emergencies. There are three packets. One of oatmeal (presumably for breakfast), one of mac and cheese (presumably for lunch) and one of a chicken and rice meal of some kind (presumably for dinner). And one of the things that attracted me to this set was that it had "real food" rather than a 3600 calorie snack bar or other thing like that. But each packet says it has 8 servings and they're all in that same packet. The outer package has a ziploc on it, but the individual packets of food don't. So, I'm trying to picture just how this would work in a situation where I would have to divvy up the 8 servings to last three days. Once I open the packet I can't reseal it. I can't guarantee that in an emergency I'll have measuring cups available to figure out how much to make so I'll have enough to last. And if I make it all, then how do I store the uneaten part? I was picturing more of an MRE pack where they are individually packaged for each meal. And that would work best if I were stranded in a car, or in the wilderness, or even if there has been a natural disaster and I'm at home without electricity. The package does say that it's great for camping, and I agree, that would probably work best. But there is still the issue of having eight servings in a single bag. So, I'm hopeful that I'll be able to figure out the best way for this to work. And, realistically, in an emergency food is food. I hope it tastes as good as advertised.

Excellent product- good price.
I highly recommend everyone get this. I suggest getting one each month. Each one is enough food for 1 person for 1 month. Or it sufficient for 2 people for 2 weeks. Or enough for 4 people for 1 week. I highly recommend enough food for a minimum of a month 2 months worth is better, 3 months is good and 4 months is best.

Excellent product from a reliable company
There are lots of options out there for "emergency food" but 4Patriots backs their product with great customer support. I had a minor shipping issue and 4Patriots was easy to reach and immediately addressed it in an honest and straightfoward way. I am fully satisfied with the product and their excellent service.
