Good for beginners through experienced solders. Works as described. Only problem i see is to melt old solder off remember to bend solder away from tip

Works really Great !needed 3 hands before purchase,now only 2 hands are needed, 1 to hold wire, one to hold Soldering Iron.and i was never any good at soldering before this purchase.

Heating tip does not get hot even at the highest setting.

I got this for the novelty of it. Makes soldering similar to MIG welding. A good tool for lots of joins. But too cumbersome for just the occasional join, or in tight spaces.Medium quality build, so don’t drop it.

I bought this for various art projects, it is so easy to use and fun! I have been using to create wire structures. I love that the solder and heat element are together so it frees up your other hand so you can make the exact connection you want. I had been using my grandfather’s more penlike iron and found it very difficult. With this product I could so quickly. I love it!

The screw to the rod holding clip was missing. There was no directions as to how to use it. It has one spool of solder with no information on how to order more.The good news, once I was able get the feed rod mounted and adjusted to its right position, I put it where the photo on the box showed it, it worked great. I have another brand that total junk. I would like to know where to order more solder.
