Piano Masterworks: Intermediate Level - Schirmer's Library Of Musical Classics

I am a mostly self-taught piano player. I progressed through the beginner piano music and desired more of a challenge. This has a nice collection of intermediary music-a little bit more challenging and then there are also some REAL challenging ones. There is enough of both that it keeps my interest while improving my skills too.

Great value for the price. I played piano for about 9 years through grade school and high school, and I’ve picked it back up now after college. The only bummer is there are so many songs, this book has a hard time staying open on its own (I’ve been using a binder clip to hold my page). Great book for those who occasionally play and want to keep up with sight reading for both treble and bass clef. Good challenge pieces, but not impossible.

Great selection of many piano pieces; definitely at the intermediate level. It is a bit overwhelming - there are so many pieces in the book to choose to learn. That's a good thing. That bad part is that the book is constructed to not stay open on the piano easily. This makes it frustrating to play from without purchasing some additional stand or clips to hold the pages open.

Happy with the purchase. Good variety of pieces, on the easier side, but in a good format for the piano at home.

Finally - a nice collection for intermediate players. I’ve been stuck for months trying to find works to help me improve, not too easy or too hard. This is it! Differentiated so as to not be boring. The work is a bit challenging but can certainly be mastered at this level. Now I can continue to feel growth. Wonderful.

Great collection of music, perfect for the intermediate pianist

This is my new favorite piano book. I have both volumes of the plastic comb piano classics but I found too many of those songs to be too challenging. This book seems much more accessible and I can learn some of these songs quickly and they still sound nice. Definitely recommended.

Fairly decent selections. A lot of music for the price. Nice printing.
