Beast of a machine at a great price!
Absolutely fantastic machine. Exactly as described. I'd argue that it's almost like a new machine. Starts up incredibly fast because of the SSD. Setup was easy. Love it!

High qualty, refurbished, used laptop, works very well after about a month of use.
After about a month with this laptop I think I may keep it. Works well, a very few minor scrapes/ scuffs do not affect it's performance . I traded the preinstalled Windows 10 Pro OS for the latest version of Mint Linux, as I have with other Lenovo Think Pad laptops I've owned in recent years. Am not disappointed.Would recommend some consideration to used and/or refurbished laptops offered on Amazon. You may be pleasantly surprised with what you may discover. Good choice for students, work from home, or just saving $$$ on your next computer. Please do your own research on used / "renewed" electronics offered on Amazon. Buying "sight unseen" used electronics on any retailer's website has a certain level of risk.

I should have read the reviews more carefully
Overall, I am pleased that the laptop has touch screen and very little blemishes. When it arrived, it was missing the the thumb mouse tracker. I orderd another one and that was solved. I ordered an internal battery because it only came with an external battery. I have between 10 and 15 hours of charge. That issue was resolved. I need it for schoo to teach my classes, but the video card is not compatible to send to the big monitor via midi or bluetooth. So, I cannot use it at worked as I had hoped. Other reviewers were critical of things missing or not working, but I had hoped I would be lucky. The laptop is great for local computing, but not for the task I really needed it for. My only recommendation is to read the reviews. I didn't pay a lot, so the old saying is sometimes true...you get what you pay for.

Not as described and with hardware failures
The unit which was delivered to me has the following issues:1) The display is just HD (1366*768) instead of FHD (1920*1080)2) The photos on Amazon product page shows an internal fingerprint scanner, and the delivered unit has none.3) The photos on Amazon product page shows the "Backlight" icon in the lower-left corner of the space key, indicating the keyboard backlight being present, but the delivered unit has none.4) Since the internal 24Wh battery was completely dead (but not removed during the refurbishing), an aftermarket external 72Wh battery was provided, however delivered discharged to 0%, and after 20 hours of continuous charging being only able charged up to about 40% (photos: "Battery 2: 38% AND CHARGING", then just stuck at 38% without further charging).5) Minor issues: the unit came with an undersized 45W power adapter instead of the original 65W one; Windows 11 22H2 in Spanish (which I then reinstalled from scratch in English) and was not in the "coming out of reset" state as it should be, with installed Avira "free antivirus" which doesn't allow for uninstall (crashes at 16% of uninstallation), and also some other bloatware like AnyDesk remote desktop, etc.

Tremendous Value for Money, and Great Customer Service too!
Great Customer ServiceWhen I received the Lenovo T470, it came with an incompatible non-Lenovo A/C charger. Upon notification, customer service promptly sent via expedited shipping two FREE replacement Lenovo USB-C chargers - no out-of-pocket additional costs for me.Though there were some initial technical issues before the T470 could successfully boot, customer service demonstrated its superior commitment to its customer(s), e.g. me.Passed all Lenovo Diagnostics - see pictureAs advertised, the T470 is in excellent condition. I ran Lenovo’s built-in diagnostics, and the T470 successfully passed all 9 diagnostic tests, e.g. the display test, in which every pixel looks great. Diagnostics also confirm the 16GB RAM, and the 256 GB SSD. And the battery has about 5+ hours of battery life at full charge. For me, the T470 is a tremendous buy, with great value for the $ spent! And the customer service was stellar. I will definitely recommend this vendor.

Not Fully Refurbished as advertised
To start off the computers body was in very nice condition, even came with a clear protection film on the top. Keyboard was nice and clean and the touchpad seems new. BUT the most important items did not seem to get much attention, the screen is definitely not a new or refurbished screen. It was quite scraped from keyboard rubbing and has seen better days. The drivers for the OS are out of date and required updating. The screen brightness even after driver updates does not dim and stays at full brightness no matter what. The touchpad does not twin finger scroll, again even with updated drivers and even after enabling and disabling them. Overall for the price I could've bought one off eBay and refurbished it myself with better RAM and a bigger SSD. Not worth the price they sell it for even less when you add the warranty price. NOTE: I added a screen protector to try and mask some of the imperfections of the screen and it slightly helped but most of the bigger abrasions are still visible. And finally since it is an older computer I suggest only using it for work, internet use and not gaming of any kind, does not support even the oldest games due to the lack of a good updatable graphics chip.
