Make sure to wax pot and ground
These look awesome. Exactly what I was looking for. If you are having issues with noise, wax pot these and make sure to solder the cover to the ground wire on your pickup. Now my little alnico import pickups look like fancy custom shops! Very cool.

Some adjustment needed
If you have staggered pickup poles these brass pickup will tough the taller poles and my cause problems. I ended up using pickups with flat poles but they too touched the upper inside of the covers. I ended up adding spacers about 3.5mm worth between the bobbin and the pup covers. This gave me plenty of room so the poles don't tough. It took a little effort but these covers look great on my black pickguard. Added matching silver knots to round out the look.

Great product 2nd go round
First set i got arrived destroyed. But, the replacement set was packed well, and in excellent condition. Exactly what I wanted and does what it should.

These are the ones you want
They work great! I put a layer of parrafin wax in between the pick up and the cover just as one would do with a humbucker cover. There is a bad review of these that stated they caused feedback/noise and buyers should avoid these and get chrome painted plastic ones. For the love of god don’t do that. Get these and use wax. Keep in mind that adding these will very likely noticeably change the tone of your guitar. In my case, the change was for the better (I tend to like darker, muddier tones.)

Bad fit in 2 dimensions
The screw holes on these covers seem misaligned with standard Strat baseplates. They're punched too far out on the wings. If you order them, make sure you have a cylindrical file, or a drill. And expect to spend about 15 minutes per cover widening the holes toward the actual cover. Also, because these have no holes for pickups' polepieces – their whole point is to cover and shield those – they won't fit over staggered polepieces. You can fix this by using a Scunci (hairband elastic), or a pair of small washers on the screws, to raise the cover above the highest polepieces.

Truly awful
These covers turned the pickups into microphones. Unacceptable! Took them out and reinstalled pickups as stock with stock 50 mm plastic covers. Could not even ground these covers, solder would not adhere to surface of the covers. Avoid at all costs… Big mistake.

Beautiful! They look just like the good quality ones!
Perfect fit( due to their thickness) and if you’re careful, they look great!
