Lower&Upper Hood Replaces AM132688 AM132529 Compatible with JohnDeere 325 335 GT225 GT235

I was able to bolt this on using all existing hardware. The parts fit well and match the original design exactly. I did need to sand down a couple of rough edges a bit where the plastic mold wasn't cleanly cut. The new hood also sits just a little bit looser than the old one. But it looks great, and I'm pretty sure the old hood had cracked because of how tight it was. I'm thinking the new one will "settle" into shape over a few hot days' use.

This fir our mower perfectly. We got the decals off old and put on the replaced hood, looks great. Fit is snag and no rattles. Very pleased.

This product comes in two sections: a lower hood and an upper hood that fasten together with four self-tapping screws. You'll need to re-use the screws from your old busted hood since no screws are included. I "tapped" threads in the upper hood by screwing in and then removing the screws before actually screwing the two hood parts together. Everything fits fine on my 2003 GT235. The two sections shipped from different warehouses and arrived 2-3 days apart. When the first section arrived by itself, I inquired about the status of the second section. Received a phone call! Excellent customer service follow-up by Amazon and Kumar Bros. These seem about as durable as the OEM parts, but anybody looking at this replacement product already knows how easily these brittle John Deere hoods crack, especially the plastic near the pivot point -- so handle with care! Recommended.

Again replaced a few panels on my aging mower. Spent about $500.00 in all for parts not just panels. Now it looks like new again. You'd never think it's 23 years old. Thanks for the quality parts and great customer service.

Got this to replace the busted hood for my GT235 and it fit perfect. Good quality and is bringing the ole tractor back around to her former glory. Now a little work on the old faded paint to match the new hood and it’ll look like the day it rolled off the line.

All in all it looks very good and fits well. One little scratch on the left side but I am sure as I mow there will be many more scratches. Used a heat gun to gently pull off the old decals and apply them to the new hood.

Product appears to be exactly like original 325 (and maybe other models) hood. Would have given 5 stars if screws would have been included to connect upper to lower hood. YOU CANNOT USE original screws. They are too large and will crack the plastic if you try to force them in. Luckily I backed off before cracking and will find smaller screws. I assume sheet metal screws will work although original screws probably meant for plastic. Very frustrating when expensive product doesn’t include 4 very inexpensive screws to complete the project.
